Days Gone - THE REDWOOD RV PARK AMBUSH CAMP - The Best & Easiest Ways To Take Out This Camp.

- Hi folks, on my Ambush Camp series of videos, I focus all my attention on one particular Ambush Camp, and on this video, it's THE REDWOOD RV PARK AMBUSH CAMP that gets my full attention. On every video, I will show an Optimal method (a method which I consider the best & done with resources only available at the time you likely take on this camp), a sniper rifle method & also a horde option should there be one nearby (And for this camp, one of the biggest hordes in the game is set upon them, lol). With this camp being the largest, a residue bolts method will also be shown, as this camp is always entertaining when using these, given that the camp is a ripper one. These videos will become a valuable guide for anyone looking to make light work of any of the Ambush Camps in Days Gone, and of course, if you have better weapons than what I am using, the job will be made even easier. Every camp is taken out with the difficulty level of Survivor II, so this is as hard as it will be for anyone, so on easier difficulty settings, the job will be a far easier affair. I hope you all enjoy this video.

Hello Boris my friend, you never cease to amaze me with absolutely great ways to complete ambush camps. I myself now have 2800 hours of DG behind me. I play it every day, except for the time I was in hospital. I couldn't do anything for 4 weeks. That was really bad for me. I look forward to it every time you upload another video. See you next time. Take care my friend and stay healthy. Best regards scout👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the kind words my friend. Sorry to hear that you've been in hospital Bubu, but glad you're out mate. The videos will keep coming my friend.
I think this is probably my favourite ambush camp. Another masterclass Boris, nice one. 👍
it was the hardest one for me at least - I handicapped myself by going up from heavies spawn location and then alerted the whole camp.. but still
Thank you SH. Appreciate the kind words mate.
Masterful! I love that it’s also almost 30 minutes. The longer the video the better haha. Can’t get enough of your content bro. Keep going!
Thank you so much SR, appreciate the very kind comments as always from yourself.
Another great ambush camp tutorial. I've done it stealthy, bfg with suppressor and rock chuck, go in on the left, take out the sniper on the roof first and then work around from there Never got spotted. Such a great game, when I'm not playing I'm watching you play. 😊
Thank you for that Darryl. And I appreciate you watching mate.
This was a fun one to watch. Your vids are getting evermore amusing as time goes on. You cheeky little bugger!! Lmao Thanks for the fun & informative content. I’m constantly suggesting your content to people scared of hordes in the FB Days Gone groups I’m in. Happy hunting!
You are too kind TW. Appreciate you recommending my content mate, thank you so much for that.
A well spent half hour. I really enjoyed the video. It's a shame that I didn't record my gameplay because we would have made a good team you and I. We could have started the video with my attempt and then you show yours for the proper way to get things done so your viewers would have both the do's and don'ts of getting the job done lol. On a side note , the residue bolts also work on animals in bringing down their health somewhat. I learned that in confronting my first bear after rescuing Lisa. It's funny that they have an effect on Rippers considering they are already drugged up and crazy to begin with lol. A most enjoyable video my friend , thanks a million ! 👍👍
That's fantastic to know about the animals. I've started my extreme playthrough now & residue bolts are going to feature heavily, as I'm severely lacking in firepower on this playthrough. I agree with you about the rippers. How the hell are residue bolts effective on rippers with the drugs they already have in their system, lol. As always, love you're comments FM, and I appreciate you watching my friend.
I was really hoping you’d do this camp next 😀 Lots of fun ways to take these bald headed freak alike’s out! I need to try the horde method, just for the fun of watching all the Rippers bow down to the freaks before they tear them apart. Good stuff 😂As always, your videos are highly entertaining to watch. Catch you on the next!
hello @VioletJones1999, I'm pleased to meet you here at Boris. LG. scout👋👋👋
@@BubuthelastboyScout Hello scout, fancy meeting you here! 😀 Nice to see you. Gotta pay respect to the man, the myth, the legend Borislav247!
So kind as always Violet. Thank you so much.
Wonderful, just wonderful. This looks so simple but it takes a lot of practice to achieve such perfection.
Thank you mate, you are far too kind with you're comments.
@@borislav247 Well, perfect work deserves recognition
@@thblock7994 Thank you.
Nice shootin’, Tex. 😎
Lol, thank you CM.
Another great way to get Attractors...I... go to a rippers camp. These guys drop attractors like crazy. This particular camp I was able to grab atleast 6
That's really good to know Andrew. I'm doing an extreme playthrough right now, and although virtually all explosives can't be used, attractors can. I'm hitting the ambush camps early on this playthrough, so I'll see what I can get.
Superb once again, my hats off to you Boris...
Thank you my friend, you are too kind.
Another good way that I did was mixture of your sniper and last method. I would cross the gap to the Nero side with the bike and quickly dispatch the sniper on the roof and the guy below with the regular guns instead of the sniper. Then I dropped below into grass and work my way around the camp in clockwise direction unlike you did with the reverse clockwise. I would use mixture of stealth takedowns with knife or guns with suppressor.
Also did you know you could turn on the speaker near the beach and hide in the bushes? They will come to investigate but it will also attract some of the infected nearby 😉
Some good info in these comments mate. Love the speaker tactic. Will have to give that one a go.
26 seconds 😂😂 love your content buddy 😊
You're insanely quick my friend, love it.
First time I tried to clear this camp I tried a stealth approach. Went to fire a residue bolt and accidentally swung my fire axe. lmao, got spotted , rushed, and the killing blow was from a ripper that set himself on fire.
These things can happen Adryan. At least you seen the funny side of it.
great content very much informative as always
Thank you John.
I've used the second method before, and found out Freakers will climb up from behind! Lol
The sneaky buggers Kahn.
Here we go!! Lol
Indeed Kahn, Indeed.
Hey Boris jsyk, you can actually one-shot the heavies, you just have to hit them where there is no armor. Places like their ass, side of the crotch, back of the leg, etc.
Happy sniping!
Thank you for that info my friend.
Boris mate, how do you do?
When I watched the video I had two suggestions to bring, now I only remember one 😢
So I'll tell the one I remember
You know, maybe you could use the binoculars when you use the residue bolts to better see the mayhem 😅
Cheers, all the best!
That's a good idea Amauri. Unfortunately, I've finished recording all the ambush camps now, but I appreciate you letting me know my friend.
@borislav247 you welcome my friend!
By the way, regarding the end of the ambush camps, do let us know: apart from the DG anniversary live, what are you preparing next? 🤩 If it's a secret, that's ok! 😅
If I could bring any more suggestions, being such an expert, you could take each mission (or the most important ones at least) and record strategy specific gameplays with different routes or approaches to them, or even strategies on how to achieve max (possible) trust with each camp at different times and how to best reap such benefits. Maybe even do some weapon specific feats, like you used to do your signature "up close and personal Borislav247-style" approach to the hordes - there are quite a few exotic weapons, such as the Badlands Big Game, BND-150 (to kill multiple enemies/hordes with poison gas/explosions), The Mayor/Sheriff, Crossbow and its many types of bolts, and others.
I'm just trying to bring up suggestions because: 1) I enjoy your content very much and 2) you are a true enthusiast of the game and DG just keeps on giving! Channels like yours are really helping to keep the flame alive and, hopefully, make DG2 a reality someday.
Looking forward to your next video! Best regards man!
@@amauripedrini Hey Amauri, a lot of really good stuff here you are talking about. A lot of this will get some serious consideration. After these Ambush Camp videos, there's a biggie regarding the Days Gone challenges, and after this will be my extreme playthrough of Days Gone (severely limited with what I can use). Hope you enjoy the future videos my friend.
Hi Boris another flawless video can't wait for special play through. Can you suggest anyone else does great content besides yourself and spawnicus rex not that I would stop watching yours just you can pick up different things from different play styles thanks regards ian
A few come to mind Ian. 8-Bitterror does some fantastic Days Gone content. You also have GreyghostGamerz. This guy does some extremely good stuff with the Days Gone game. There's also GomerBlackMagic. This guy does a lot of playthroughs, and is always good to watch. And finally, check out MXT Gaming. This guy does a lot of Days Gone content & is fantastic to watch.
Thanks for that boris you take some beating cheers
That was awesome!
Thank you Heather. This is one of my favorite camps. The rippers are straight up bonkers.
Love a good fight.
Lol, thank you Catherine.
Yo
My favourite method Is to kill the rippers before they kill me
😂😂😂 good call. Me too!
Lol, that's a good method.
Just throwing this out there: Have you considered playing & making content for State of Decay 2? I started playing this game about 1 month ago and it's very fun.
I'll check out this game on RUclips mate to see what it's like.
@@borislav247 You have never heard of it? Since you like Days Gone I think you will enjoy it. It's also a third person zombie shooter, but it has more of a focus on base building and you control a full community of survivors rather than just playing as a single character. It also has co-op, but I have not tried out that mode yet.
@@herrrobert5340 I have heard of it, but never seen it being played. I'll definitely take a look at this one.
