The coin at 2.38 is a victoria young head shield back sovereign (22 carat coin / 9 carat ring) . Depending on the year and mint these coins can be worth a lot of money and are not scrap!! I know this one looks damaged due to it being mounted in the ring but could be conserved , hard to tell from the pics. If anyone ever comes across a gold sovereign from the 1800s ( George 3rd, George 4th, William 4th, Victoria 1st) do not just treat them as bullion do some research first on year and mint For example a 1819 George 3rd only 3574 coins were struck and so value now depending on condition can be anything from £100k to £250k
