I live in Brickell and work on South Beach. $1,000 for a place in Miami Beach in 2023 is amazing. They will definitely raise rent for the next tenants.
Its doable. Reminds me of an apartment I lived in in downtown San Diego for $950 2005 - 2010. It now goes for $2900. With todays economy, its hard to get anything at $1k in this country. And Miami!!! Its all just location. Many issues with the living space as you mentioned.
I paid $2,500 for a studio hybrid (one bedroom with no door) in a high end building in Las Olas and felt that it was worth it. Although I was nowhere near the beach like you, I could directly feel what my monthly rent went towards. Our amenities were comparable to or better than some 5-star hotels, 24 hour security and concierge, same-day maintenance requests, and fully smart-home capable units. Sometimes living a little further way but in better conditions makes it worthwhile. I would estimate my old studio to rent at or above $4,500 in South Beach today.
I mean $1000 is great for that area. If I was single, this would be a good spot to have. Surely would not work for a family. That area is so expensive, I am surprised there is anything for that price. On a side note, I have a Brightline vlog on the Aventura Mall Shuttle coming tomorrow night and gave you a proper shoutout. Take care and talk soon!
Yeah, it’s an expensive area to live in. I’m 100% sure the price is going up for next tenant or it’s going to be Airbnb. Thanks for the shout! I’ll be sure to look out for it.
SOOO many small places like that in SoFla. I split an apartment with a friend down there for $2275/month. It was small too. I wanted a place of my own that was bigger, so I had to move away from the beaches.
First off, I love your videos! That garage looks like it has mold growing in it. The foundation looks unstable. The lack of light would be depressing. With that being said, I am shocked you found something for $1000 on Miami Beach. Did you move to another area?
At first I thought the airbnb units were “sublet”. That’s when a tenant to an apartment “leases” out the apartment. Looking on a real estate website it appears some of those “apartments” in the building are SOLD. No wonder the owner of the building hasn’t made changes to the building. He/she gets $$$ WITHOUT making upgrades/changes.
Even here it's hard to find a place for 1000 a month, just looking at this place there's a parking issue and even basic issues like washing lol, but I would personally live there if I ever wanted to live in Miami Beach lol. But going into it, I kinda like it, I would def just buy a huge carpet and put it in because I don't like the floors but I could see some layout ideas. I would 85% live here, although thin walls could be an issue with content creating lol. But if I wanted to live close to the beach I would hop on it Oh wait threres no AC? Nvm ild die
where can i find apartments for this price in miami and what website because i’ve been searching and I can’t find any and it’s going to be my first time renting
It's likely that within ten years that building and all the nearby ones will have been demolished and replaced with more luxurious and costly buildings.
Compared to my Parking space unit no closet and shared bathroom in San Francisco with bugs and weird people for $677 the apartment in Miami is great. In 2000 I lived on south beach on 16th and Lincoln in a two bedroom and 2 bath over looking the bay for 1300. It cost 300,000 to buy. The North beach for 1000 is great for today.
Not worth it in my opinion. Owner needs to invest in alot of upgrades and renovations. And the garage looks like a bathtub so when it rains alot, the "lucky" tenants may have their car flooded.

I would live there. $1,000.00 for that area of Miami Beach is actually a steal. The apt could use a good coat of paint but definitely worth the price.
Parking would be an issue, but as a single man I would do this place just for the location and how close everywhere is.

Two thousand what???? You all need to move. Leave the States.
1000 a month is really great. Fresh paint n some glass cleaner. In nyc. 300 sq ft can cost u over 3000 a month

Did any utilities included (electric, gas, water)? Did that include a parking spot? Tv/internet?
Oh! Didn’t mention that. So no parking as you can see but water is included. Rest we had to pay for (electricity, gas, internet, etc)

There’s A/C! It’s over by the kitchen. A lot better than those big ones you attach to the window. Never had an issue with it being hot inside.

How did you find this and where can I find this?
Lord God I'm glad you have some where to live , however I pray you can upgrade to a better place ASAP.

Papo, eso esta regalado! In Allapattah, sec 8 housing, the cheapest studio go for $1,300. Asi que dale gracias a tu novia
That place is a dump and needs to be demolished.
Lol fr.
There’s a lot of buildings like that in Miami Beach and the rent is high. It’s a shame
try living in sydney
Paint it put new appliances in there with the understanding you will take them when you move. 1000 a month not really bad
This condo worth the price, becauee it is bigger than stduent housing with private bathroom kitchen.
Get a reflective sticker for your windows!
ive seen some really nice small apts in south beach for 1500-1700 range i would get those instead this looks depressing lol
Buy earplugs so the noise doesn't Bother you
Seriously if i lived in that building i airbnb the place put
