It means his regime’s stance is that the protesters have not done something to warrant their action rven if the university wants them cleared out - other places disagree and we will see if that costs him long term politically, but it is the type of power that position gives him which takes a decent amount of time/accomplishment to get so it will be interesting. Some police chiefs have decided the violence has gone too far while he thinks it is still at an okay level and clearly disregards the private property rights position (“will not clear out the protesters/encampment just for graduation”).
Non of them were protesting against what the 'Palestine movement' did On October 7th. In fact, many of them organized to support it a day after. These people are ev|l to the core.
