I know of two guys that installed these units, had nothing but problems, after 2 summers of trying to get them running satisfactory they took them off the cars and went back to carbs
Good shows, tell Discovery+ to pull their heads out of their rear ends and publish a schedule for when the new shows drop. I am ready to drop Discovery+ over this nonsense.
Finnegan said something not too long ago they have yet to tell anyone any of the shows are renewed he admitted he’s not important enough to be in the know of everything but he’s a little worried
I totally agree. Seems since MotorTrend migrated to Discovery+/HBO Max, they don't have as many new shows. I'm about to just cancel HBO Max because of it.
Do you have HBO MAX? Know someone who does and will give you their login? If so, you can stop paying for Discovery+. MAX is more user friendly. Just put shows in your favs and you can go straight to them and see if there's a new episode of any of them.

Awesome. I'm really tempted to do this to an old Dodge truck I found. I'm torn. Legit resto? Or massive improvement with EFI and electronic ignition? Agony
Lol tbfi was in 90s gm cars. I loved it then as it was way more reliable than carbs. No more jetting. What makes these great it's that your able to install it on a non efi car without CPU mods
I have installed a lot of EFI but the trend is beginning to change back to carburetor for me. One thing that my customers are beginning to learn is long-term storage is not EFI-friendly if it isn't done correctly.
Ive know of at least 3 people with older cars, instal the fuel injection carb and later take it all off and put a real carb back on.. So, it all sounds great but that self learning thing never really happens...
If they had issues then they likely installed it incorrectly. Most issues come from not following the instructions and thinking you can get away with it
Only issue I had with mine was when I had a slight vac leak via busted intake gasket and user adjustment error. Otherwise it runs great. Hop in and go anywhere anytime.
I want to swap to a sniper ! ..... just need to figure out my fuel return i run a magna fuel 500 that has a fuel return at the pump not sure if I'll need a return at the pump and at the efi
so what is the difference really between sniper 1 and 2? I get it has some upgrades but it also doesn't have a built in regulator which sucks and it cost more too
Why would you recommend holley use bluetooth to apposed to the handheld? Everyone who drives the car would need to download the app, to utilize the vitals.
@kassalsup7195 Wrong. That was a MPI system with a separate stand alone ECU. The Sniper system has a simple ECU built inside the TBI unit. It can only support a single TBI unit.
I had the Edelbrock e-street, total trash. The o2 sensor went bad, the idle air valve went bad and the tablet even bricked itself. Oh and their tech service could only tell you to reload the base tune

What about the IAC setting and placement of the Co2 bung. That would be some great information.
How does it know the air fuel ratio? they did not show any O2 sensor, does it require welding in of a bung to the exhaust for that?
For my 2300 Sniper it had an 02 sensor that was installed in the exhaust.
