Those bagpipes fading into sirens, and that foreshadowing. The subtle, but immediate shift from a peaceful Scottish countryside to a full scale battle. That's some serious storytelling. It's a good thing Wargaming puts up these videos so we can appreciate the work their team puts in.
SSSSSSCCCCCCCCOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTLLLLLLLLAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDD FFFFFFFFFOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRREEEEEVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR *Scotland army played Scotland The Brave while Blitzkrieg in huge Army of Scottish*
I’m going on every video and making a backstory for it. Operation Sea Lion. It was thought it would be impossible, but it happened. German zeppelins and huge transport barges crossed the Channel and poured into the British Isles, and the Royal Navy held off by the Kriegsmarine and Luftwaffe. But there is still hope. In these Scottish highlands, the Army has prepared a plan. For once, the Allies will get the turn to be on the attack. And history will get itself back on track.
When I listen to the intro I imagine a Scotsman playing the bagpipes in the hills but then he sees a massive German squadron of transport planes and bombers, and runs back to his airbase to sound the alarm. Fighters start taking off and AA fire opens up, but it’s too late and gliders start to descend from the sky... and the battle begins
Played this song at my house, my pants have become a kilt, my kitchen knife has become a sword covered on Englishman blood, and I've got a sudden urge to claim Scottish sovereignty
In the beginning, sirens and Scottish music go amazingly well together. Also, the 2:44 music continues to play in the game, which also demonstrates the composer's incredible ability.
The villages look axactly like they do in real life on this map, i live in an old scottish village, funny to see t34s just rolling through what looks like my garden.
One of my favourites on the whole soundtrack and not simply because I live in Scotland. I call this map "Castlecary" as it reminds me of the village just down the road from Cumbernauld with its viaduct almost identical to the one in the map - minus the bomb damage of course! The bit with the sirens makes me wonder what it must have been like to live in that area during the late summer of 1940, when German bombers appeared in the sky on their way to Glasgow and Clydebank...
My favourite music in the game, the siren matches with the music and I get goosebumps. And the fast pace of the music also keeps my adrenaline pumping.
To be honest, i've never seen such a good use of Scotland the brave... Did NOT expect that from a game i personally qualify as ''Meh'', the music got nailed, good job to the team
The first time i played this map in 1.0 i had goosebumps ive havnt had for a very long time. Also cant believe how WG managed to improve both graphics and fps on my fckng laptop... Props to WG, just well done!
I like this map as a concept but I feel if I am playing in a TD that I would have liked to be able to pull back a little. The TD setup areas are exactly on the red line. There's no further forward positions and no further back you are just stuck on the red line in just one small area. It works reasonably well for the other tanks though, it is one of the best all-round maps in my opinion, at least up to tier VI-VII.
If an enemy force of the Britain is launching a full scale tank assault on Scottish Highlands, there is no step back, literally. You must stand exactly on the map red line.

@@canon-de-75 Zeppelins in WW2???
@@ArcticArmy it's alternate history silly, of course in reality Germany never had any capability of invading the UK
@@canon-de-75 I know, but zeppelins seem like a really outdated tech for even WW2, and I doubt they were ever used in it.

The way Scotland The Brave is played at the start maker the map feel so much more alive to me. The map is BEAUTIFUL. It looks like a Monet painting.
the siren blends in perfectly with the song and its amazing
Best song so far ❤️
One of the best soundtracks in the game! The bagpipes, the air raid siren, it is all so awesome!
The villages look axactly like they do in real life on this map, i live in an old scottish village, funny to see t34s just rolling through what looks like my garden.

My favourite music in the game, the siren matches with the music and I get goosebumps.
And the fast pace of the music also keeps my adrenaline pumping.
My fish listened to this
Now it's the Loch Ness Monster
The only song that makes me hyped for the match no matter how frustrated I am
In a British tank, I would dominate here... ONLY to get WRECKED LATER, BUT that Scottish countryside, though... SO BEAUTIFUL...
To be honest, i've never seen such a good use of Scotland the brave... Did NOT expect that from a game i personally qualify as ''Meh'', the music got nailed, good job to the team

i get chills from the sirens
id love to see hogwart's express roll by in the bridge
I'd destroy it.
Lol the train is gone by fv 4005 stage ll

Yep. The song at the start SCOTLAND The Brave is a patriotic Scottish song so I'd take a stab in the dark and say it's in Scotland
They don't call em the Scottish *Highlands* for nothing
Yup, you can tell by the bagpipes at the start.
Lol
