The consistency and duration of Ukrainian air strikes are somewhat surprising. Previously, attacks were limited to individual drones. It appears that significant gaps have been created in Russian air defenses in Crimea and the southern front area, allowing drones to move in greater numbers over Crimea towards southern regions of Russia.

Hey, because of this channel one of my ideas made it all the way to the battlefield, and I'm hoping another idea makes it, I came up with the idea instead of shooting those rope detonation ordinances out of tanks Why not have it to where you can connect them over and over and over in three lanes of RC cars that send the ropes dragging behind the cars, because they're weight won't detonate landmines itself that way you can clear out three lanes and also connect as many ropes as you can to go across the battlefield on the back of RC cars then dragging them behind it, because those cannons of rope detonation ordinances was not as stealthy, I'm hoping that they use a mirror film, as we use on the back of glass to see ourselves in them, why not use a mirror film wrap on drone boats? And then put some type of anti-reflective film over the top of that? I also think that mirror rap would work on Bradley's and tanks as well, especially when you're in the woods it'll look like it's not even there, I got the idea off of the desert scene on Star wars to make it look like the car was hovering across the desert they used a box and then they put mirrors on the box and it didn't look like anything other than it floating in the air, it's first generation invisibility cloak, let's call it 'Adams cloak' I've been with the channel since day one, I've donated quite a bit of money in the first year and a half, and I plan to do so in the future. I really truly think that this is an amazing idea and if anybody can get this idea to the ukrainians it would be this channel. Please pass my idea along they're using my RC detonation rope drag behind system, why not use the mirror film Adam's cloak wrap.. especially forested areas, all one would have to do is put a light tint over the mirror film that the tanks get wrapped in and the drone boats, just think about that if you're in a pinch and you need to use a drone boat there's absolutely no way they'll see those coming at all You can drive right up to them..bada bing bada BOOM!
Please tell them to use a FN 57 pistol with a green tip ammunition for armor piercing. They can even put a switch on it to make it fully automatic but I have seen it done on a $40 drone just playing around.

Viborg is the original Swedish name founded in the 13th century. Stalin destroyed the area by importing Ruskies from all over Russia.
Yes, and the second oldest town in Finland. And a huge university town.
So there was nothing there The glorius swedes came there?
Sweden build a forward outpost there yep, They named it Viborg, it is located in the Swedish landscape of Ingermansland.
@@latelarsson5784 There was Karelian settlements in the area, but it's not very clear exactly where. I don't know what the Karelians called the area (judging by the place names in the area, it wasn't anything germanic-sounding), but the word "Borg" implies that it was named after a fortification, and the Swedes built one in 1293 there.
The point made wasn't that the area was a barren wasteland before the Swedes built a castle there, the point is that the name "Viborg" , not "Viipuri", has been the name of the city for the vast majority of the last 800 years and long before it fell to Russia in 1810. And from what I understand (I can be wrong here though), "Puri" in this case is basicly just a finnophocation of "Borg".

Actually Viborg is the Swedish name of the city and before it was taken over by the Russians it had two names, Viipuri and Viborg, just like many other Finnish towns.
when a factory is destroyed, i wonder if an army "recruiter" collects the unemployed workers?
Hmmm...interesting thought.
They are unemployed & strapped for income! So yes recruitment to a contract is an option!
Absolutely this happens. Russia does what it’s told regardless of cost. They are always hard of thinking.
The whole of the aviation fuel storage at Belbek air base was massively destroyed - many tens of thousands of gallons gone up in smoke.
Estimation was 450,000 liters, so just shy of 120,000 gallons. For reference the F-16 has a fuel capacity of around 3,500 liters, so the gopniks were storing enough for more than a hundred full length sorties there. Poof. Gone. Good times.
@@andersjjensen Also the ability to store that fuel again has gone.
@@mikester1290 It has, but I think even the Russians understood the eviction notice.
Not only was the fuel destroyed, but the means to store fuel was destroyed. This means that this airfield cannot be used to launch air attacks because their aircraft cannot be fueled until such time as Russia builds new fuel storage there. And, when they do, BOOM, Ukraine will hit the new fuel storage.
Does Gertie Thunberg have anything to say about all this?
If Ukraine loses 1% of their men per month, but Russia loses 10% of their infrastructure per month, Ukraine can outlast Russia and they will culminate.
It's not just attrition on the front lines.
The soldier is the outside ring or center of gravity according to Prussian war doctrine. Ukraine are operating higher up the food chain if they can hit Russian infrastructure while protecting their own from Russian attacks.
A lot of Ukraines back line is actually inside NATO so it’s pretty hard for Russia to do much about it.
but no one talks about how much of ukraine's infrastructure and economy has been blasted. I don't exactly how much it is, but I'm sure it's not small.

Russia can only pay with useless currency,if it pays with money.
You know what is going on is that they are softening the targets for the F-16s.
They're softening them as much for their own drones and missiles. F-16s are not going to go where drones and missiles can. F-16s are going to further degrade air defence (they're excellent SEAD planes with the right mission pods and anti radiation missiles) but most crucially they're going to provide close air support to ground troops.
@@andersjjensen True. The real point of giving Ukraine f16s is to essentially force the Russian radar and support lines further backward from the front lines.

Watching the video of the machine-gun drone, the recoil is not as much of a problem as you might think. A soldier on the ground firing a machine gun will have the bullets "climb" as recoil tilts the gun backward. The later bullets will fly up and far beyond the target. But because the gun is mounted on the bottom of the drone, the recoil tilts it down instead. So the drone can aim to the top of the target area and 'walk' the bullets back through it. Not accurate enough to put multiple rounds into a single target, but should be very effective against small groups of infantry, or for enfilading a trench line.
I was thinking the same thing. Also, if they switched to a smaller caliber weapon, the recoil wouldn't be as
much, but it would still disrupt the enemy.
Drones could be scary snipers.
@@daniellarson3068Have you ever seen the video "Slaughterbots"? It's available on RUclips.
@@DonFahquidmi Oh yeah, that's scary because of how real it could be in the very near future.
The drone is not limited the way a soldier is that needs to take ground to get a better firing position. A drone can fly directly above the enemy and shoot straight down at them. When firing straight down recoil effects would be reduced by the systems weight. If the recoil from the gun is mounted on the drones center of gravity every bullet should hit pretty close to each other. There would also be no need to adjust for range. Altitude would be the range and gravity would be pulling each bullet into the target. Drones could fire from altitudes beyond what the human eye could see them or possibly even hear them with the use of a suppressor. By shooting directly down into the trenches it would be bypassing almost all body armor except for their Chinese airsoft helmets.. There are still more advantages as well. These are but a few.
Another option would mount the gun even with and parallel with the props so it would not cause as much of a rocking motion. It would mostly push the drone in the opposite direction of the gun fire.I believe such a system would be more suited to a sniper role. Not a full auto LMG. The current system would be better suited to sniping as well. Almost pointless to have a LMG or SAW and only be able to fire so few rounds at a time.
Why are Russia air defenses non-existent? Early in the war they pulled S-300s and S-400s from St. Petersburg and fired them directly into apartment buildings in Ukraine. This is known as tearing down the house to put it in the fireplace.
It seems as though Ukraine has invented a "cloaking device"😂
They’re junk like the rest of their military equipment.
S300/S-400 doesn't work as intended on missiles and bombs, They work on planes though.
I read that S-300s and S-400s don't work against small drones that the Ukrainians are using. Russia has a serious lack of short range air defense to fish these drones out of the air.
@@Libertinus79they work against drones just fine but they have the same problem with doing it as a Patriot system; it’s very expensive.
S-300/400 interceptor missiles are probably equally if not even more expensive than their western counterparts and nobody wants to be responsible for using a missile that costs several million dollars on a 600$ drone.

any cracks in your forward air defense makes your whole territory vulnerable to drone attacks. they have small drones with loitering packages that are designed to get through a position find a spot to drop its rolled up solar panel, and bam. now you have a position behind enemy lines you can charge your loitered drones. turning a 40km range into a 40,000km range
40.000 is a bit exageration, eh? But we get the picture, it's quite scary.
@@AdlerMow40,000 km = all the way around the Earth. The meter was originally defined as 1/10,000,000 of the distance from the equator to the North Pole along the meridian through Paris.
We make a distinction in American English that appears not to exist in Eastern Europe languages.
Mobilization is to reactivate people with military experience back into the military. It is part of the deal you sign up for after initial volunteering.
Conscription is to call up pure civilians and compel training and service. It is also known as the draft.
In US, men at 18 are obliged to register for conscription but that just puts you on a list of eligibility. No one expects that it will actually happen.
Officially called in America the Selective Service. The selection part of it would be what you could call the codes for eligibility to get drafted -- or ineligibility. Draft Classification 1A is like perfectly eligible for the draft. 4F is medically unfit for armed service. There are other codes for deferred eligibility. The only draft classification I ever had was 1H at the time. I took that to mean "fully eligible, but the draft is inactive."

24:39 To stabilize world prices, USA and Canada could easily up their oil production to more than compensate for any Russian oil taken off the market
All you would have to do to get Canada to up oil production is convince wacky-woke-Trudope and the paper-Canadian, Jagmeet Singh, both of whom are making Canada into the first post-national state. If you have trouble understanding that, try understanding ‘adaptable communism’, which is the personal ideology of the first Turdeau. The Trudope Liberals passed the no pipelines law and want to eliminate fossil fuels by 2035. No thought to the fact that the country is 4700 miles across, not counting the North-south axis, and involves 6 time zones. Try supplying groceries without diesel fuel. Good luck… Trudope raised gas prices by CAD 17.61 cents/litre (other fuels are an additional 3-8 cents CAD higher) very recently. Canada’s current politicians can be relied upon to play in a sand box politely.

They could remove the jamming problem by keeping attached to a wire, yes, I know this limits the range. However, great tool for hovering Over trenches!
Be better to have a drone operator and an EW operator working together on the squad level. There is less delay in comms, if any at all, and the guys on the ground know what's where at all times. Just a yell down the trench will alert your boys to what's ahead, over trying to get through enemy Jamming on the radios and drones. The command centre can still have their drones up looking at everything calling stuff out that's either incoming too far away from the squads drone to see or support in case the squad drone goes down. Gives HQ a chance to focus on Tanks and counter battery

Orc "advances" are an overstatement. I have not revisited the numbers recently, but here is what I concluded about 16 days ago.
-=-=-=-=-
The Orcs have suffered 189,000 casualties since 5 October 2023, and gained a grand total of 255km2 of rural land (Ukraine's total area is 603,500 km2). That works out to a cost of 742.6 casualties per square kilometer conquered and a rate of conquest of 42.5 km2 per month.
With approximately 25,000 km2 of "Russian territory" in Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson remaining under Ukrainian control (not to mention the other ~491,465 km2 in the central and Western parts of the country) at their current pace the Orcs will have to expend an ADDITIONAL 18,565,000 casualties to achieve Putin's Plan B goal, and it will only take them 49 years to do it!
That assumes they can continue the pace they have managed on average over the past 6 months, which is a highly dubious prospect with an aid package valued at $60,840,000,000 arriving.
nonsense.
Russia is not only taking rural land, they are taking towns, and a little city(which they are already starting to take the ukrainians out of) which the ukrainians laughed the russians at

Thank you Artur for your continued support of Ukraine
The machinegun on the drone should have pointed straight down. The weight of the gun and the drone could help offset recoil. The enemy would have almost no place to hide in a trench line since the entire trench line could be targeted. There would be no real need for range calibration since the shots were going straight down at the ground. An IR laser could be used as a sight for the gun with IR zoom camera for the guns optics. Higher altitudes also helps to make the drone harder to see and hear since now the drone could fly much higher than the troops on the ground could see or hear it until it fired. Even gun noise can be reduced with the use of a suppressor. I doubt people on the ground would know where they were being shot from. Lastly bullets arriving at such an angle could bypass most body armor worn by the enemy except for helmets.

Question: in terms of getting Russia to end the war and retreat, what is more important: Ukraine reclaiming land that Russia occupied beginning in 2014 or reducing Russian petroleum production and other industries? We see that on the ground, Ukraine's position is weakened in several places. But Ukraine is seriously weakening Russia's industries. So, in the long run, which is more important? By the way, I like your hair style, at present.
Generally, mangling a warring country's industrial infrastructure/money pot is usually a fast track to game ending them as these types of aggressive political moves is notoriously costly to sustain long term (and War Time Economies are absolutely the one thing that will guarantee a country's economic demise...and GDP is pointless if there's no return on invesstment) . Also, knocking out refineries limits fuel for their mechanized gear.
To be real here. The German Government is really good in wasting our Taxes at any Time. Supporting Ukraine is at least something useful.

30 years ago 555 timer chips might have been used, but timing circuits are integrated into control boards and SOC's (system on a chip) these days.
Regarding the Machine gun drone, 2-3 round bursts are adequate enough for it's role IMO. Whenever we did MG live firing, the vast majority of the firing was generally 3-5 round bursts due to recoil and the spread of the rounds in larger bursts. Longer bursts are ok with a larger target grouping of infantry etc, but ideally 3-5 rounds are best for accuracy on a specific target, such as an enemy MG post or a couple of infantry, etc. Also theses MG drones can fire from above, behind etc the target, possibly eliminating defensive cover advantages, and also out of EW range (possibly?).

No, I think Viborg was a Swedish city. But you know how to catch a Muscovite: You place a stone saying "Border of Muscovia", and sooner or later they will come to prove you wrong.
So somewhere 1800-ish, the Muscovites, well at the time the Petersborgians, I guess, came to conquer Finland, and they changed the name to Vyborg. With Finnish independence it got a Finnish name, but I don't know enough Finnish for that: The pattern suggests that it will have been something like Vipori.
Then the Muscovites noticed a border stone, and conquered it for the second time.
I don't know what will happen when this conflict is over; I've been told that the Fins don't actually want their city back. Maybe if everybody just calls it Wiborg, like any sensible Dutchman does, people would stop fighting over the name.
"No, I think Viborg was a Swedish city." It wasn't. The city was part of the Swedish kingdom, just like rest of Finland but the city and the surrounding areas were always settled by Finns. So saying that it's Swedish city is quite misleading.

Hey, there....Submarine service isn't a "demotion" as long as your number of surfaces is equal to your number of dives.

Vyborg was named Viborg in swedish. Swedish was the dominating language spoken by the ruling class even after 1809, when Finland became a duchy in the russian empire...
