Yo, I don't know if you're gonna read this, but in case you do: Thank you Praxi for getting me into music production. I used to watch your tutorials back in 2018 and they really made me interested in making music like you do. Even though I didn't understand most of what you did, I still found it amazing how you could explain something as complicated as music production in a 5-minute video. Also it was so fascinating how you could just make a short song that sounds like a specific artist. I would always be so excited when you uploaded a new video, hoping that you'd cover an artist I was interested in, like Ski Mask, for example. About 1.5 years ago, I finally downloaded FL after I got my first pc for my birthday about 6 months prior. I was using the demo version at the time, but I was so excited and I could never stop looking for new tutorials and ways to improve. You were among a handful of other youtubers who showed me what music production was, and with it I've finally found my calling. To this day, I'm still making 5 or more beats a day just like when I started. I try to experiment and improve every day and that hunger still hasn't died out. I found my passion in music production. So I just wanna say thank you. Thank you for helping me find my passion and future job (hopefully lol). Thank you brotha 💫
crazy fact: there are only two songs in which kaytra sings in. that being the first hook on "DYSFUNCTIONAL", or at the very beginning of LUST. by Kendrick
Ok this one is so wild. Great work on the beat and aligning it with this vocal is just chefs kiss. Throw this one up on streaming if you can! Keep it up Praxi
I can tell you got carried away with this one. Sick bro 🔥 If you see this, I have a request for another one of these videos. NxxxxxS is my all time favorite producer and I wanna see your take on his style.
Kaytranada is my most listened to artist for the last 2 years so this was so icl to see you make a song that i would be rinsing if he actually released it’s because This goes crazyyyyy so harddd !!
I swear your beats bring a tear to my eye with just how talented you are man ❗️❗️ Definitely trying to get to this level. NEVER STOP MAKING THESE BEATS❗️😁😁
I went to the weeknds show in sofi, I saw his name and said "who tf is this guy?!?!", instantly took my words back I gotta say his set was really good for an artist/dj I didn't even know existed man I'm hooked now
His production is clean. Especially, drum, and 808 synth bass works together. It's like compact, rounded sound, stiff in a good way. Sidechain huh? And how about the 808 synth bass? Sidechain too or not?? And how to make the 808 sounds audible, and prominent like kaytra? Since it's very low, yet it's clipping to red meter. 7:10 FYI: kaytra actually sang like a hook kinda in joyce wrice - kaytra's interlude. That was kaytra's voice.
This is like YO!!! i've been searching for kaytranada types for a long time:) even as ableton user - i see what's up :) Differently will try it on next session :)
damn i did that bass thing on an old wip like a year ago lel, couldnt find a good free vst bass so i just used an 808 to do a funky lil bassline kino vido as always praxi
Look for some vinyl simulation plugins like Rc20, Vinyl by izotope (free plugin) or Origin by Cymatics (free plugin). Also bitcrush plug-ins make for some cool textures for lofi
