Greetings from America! I just want to tell you WOW! ...your home is stunning and one of the best videos I have ever seen. American designers can learn some lessons about authenticity of interiors. I watch lots of videos and rarely get a strong emotion about how a home is curated and yours made me exuberant. I feel I needed to see and feel this. I love the eclectic and curated spaces and the understanding of keeping the imperfections like that stair opening posts. I like that your artwork is really very eclectic and a wonderful mix. I'm a late bloomer interior design enthusiast. My background is in graphic design and illustration for major corporations both fulltime and freelance and so much of what I did in my career was not about three-dimensional space of interiors although I worked side by side with top interior designers and architects in doing renderings, presentation boards or mood boards and often did the graphics that would appear mainly in commercial spaces. I even worked on concession areas at Wembley Stadium many years ago. I'm sixty-four years old now and a fine artist painter and that interior design appreciation enhances my thoughts in painting. My father was a brilliant industrial designer, interior designer and architectural designer. I grew up around furniture that was modern masters work like Eames, Bertoia, Nakashima, Nelson, Risom, Knoll, Saarinen, McCobb and many others that my dad knew personally and so the homes I grew up in were filled with that aesthetic. My father always had the idea of utilizing his modernist works in a very traditional historical type of home and that juxtapose which can work and you hit the nail on the head in your home. It was a dream of his for his own home. I remember as a child going with him to look at an old farmhouse he was looking to purchase and him talking about that idea, and it stuck with me since childhood. You have created an elegant, traditional, eclectic, very genuine and not forced home. I see way too many videos of forcing things or being just too slick. Wealth does not buy taste. Taste is created by years of observation and appreciation of beauty. It's perseverance in learning to understand what works. It takes a keen eye and the appreciation for subtle beauty and understanding the art of things in texture, color, history and form. Your home pays tribute to the past and into the future. Bravo Brian! A maestro of interiors is what I see in you. You opened a window for me and possibilities for my own home. Thank you so very much and have a wonderful holiday season. I feel uplifted and that's the best feeling or gift we can give to another. You told a masterful story.
The sheer square footage in large antique Persian rugs is staggering. Everything is so tastefully done and well-balanced, yet full of personality. As would be expected from someone who keeps such wonderful dogs.

I’m jealous over the boiled wool sofa and I just placed an order for skiffers, which until now I’d never heard of but instantly knew where the answer I didn’t know I needed! I love that you paint the ceiling, cornice, baseboard, and window moldings the same color. They don't fight with the rest of the design feathers. Beautiful!

Great style ❤, never seen the window pull up shutter . Love the lights and toffee caramel colours . So lovely seeing the sage green Poole felt , with oak . Bobbins and scallops noted . Can’t imagine painting red skirting with luxury fitted wool carpet .
This has been a very well thought, designed house, respecting the history, but one doesn’t feel as if one stepped into museum, antique store nor does it feel like one stepped into a showroom. Bravo! 👏🇨🇦

There are a lot of Home tours of interiour Designers houses which Look like billionaires homes without taste. But this is beyond beautiful. He is a master of his craft.
This was a delight and the before and after of the bathroom is a revelation! I kept looking at those stairs though and the size of the furniture upstairs and wondering how it all got up there. Brilliant home. Also: do not replace that stunning piece with a piano! or at least keep that piece and put it elsewhere because wow
Is there away to restore the fireplaces this way there is more heating in the winter time? Excellent job Mr. Brian Woulfe did in the bathroom to give it a grand stylish look with that wall paper and also the bedrooms giving the house that old English manor look. I totally agree the bar is totally unique. All the best in 2025.
