Ditto. A little slow on the delivery, but hilariously effective. When I clicked on the SSH computer icon, I got a WSL targets list that I had to figure out how change to SSH targets but other than that missing step, totally cool.

Do you know how to prevent VS Code to automatically trying to install VS Code Server on remote host. My remote host is overprotected and my user account doesn't have privileges to install that. I just want to connect SSH remotely and edit files, that's it.
i got the host and host name open but it does not show on the left hand side for me to click on it and open it

If you don't have enough RAM/memory in your server it might create some issue.

Doesn't work. It asks for the server type, and then gets an error. Never asks for password or fingerprint confirmation.

Are you able to access it from terminal ? Vsc needs at least 1 GB of RAM

You can put it anywhere just make sure to put the correct path in the vs code config
