But anyone could have pulled up to that boat dock and tied up to it even if they didn't live there. While we lived in a gated community that didn't help us one bit since we lived on a lake because we didn't have a guard stationed on the boat dock. Most gated communities don't. Love Mike, he tells tragic stories but also manages to insert a bit of humour, I am STILL binge watching, a lot of the cases I have seen on other channels but still watch Mike because there is always little extra bits… I have the closed captions on when I watch and sometimes it’s quite funny when the wrong words are used, makes a horrific case a bit more bareable 🇬🇧

I cannot imagine the fear of knowing something like this happened in the remote and usually quiet little lake community, the neighbors and homeowners must have been very frightened by all of this. How sad that such a lovely couple should meet such a horrific end, hope they find the killer(s) , for the family's sake and of the Sheriff's as well.

And considering that they seem like a sweet older couple, living in a safe area, just a request for help could have probably had them opening that door.
