Great podcast Gary! It brought back a lot of great memories of the thrill from west hill Paul Tracy when I watched him race at Mosport...He was so good it seemed like he was Fearless ! I wish you could have shown the 1985 Can-Am photo of Paul Tracy In the mosport program, I believe he was only 16 years old When he drove Krolls Frisbee! Anyway loved the podcast and maybe in the future you could interview Ron Fellows that'd be a great interview!

Even us 'Mericans loved PT! Another terrifically entertaining interview! And our son has raced karts with the Launi's grandson at Mosport and Goodwood! And Scott Maxwell's son too (intentionally leaving the kids names out)...small world!

You've done a great job exposing some of the "behind the scenes" events that make up the Motorsport industry. No real breaks for Paul while racing for Penske (except for breaking his leg). Low pay, high risk and questionable morals. I guess you can, when everyone is knocking on the doors to get a ride for free. Thanks for the great production.

So I just randomly grabbed a magazine out of my archives and it's Champcar by Racer mag and it's got the story on Paul and his karting team,,,,and the feature on Tag,,,,,loved the story on Family Kartways I raced there for years but after Paul did,,,,and I've had the pleasure of having Paul take me for a ride in the Ford GT pace car at the Toronto Indy shooting a game show I was in,,,,

Unfortunate sound issue (Gary is full blast, sometimes hard to hear PT) but a great pod with a great racer. Whipped past a few things I'd like to heard more about, the Penske contract cancellation after all other drives had been spoken for costing him millions was a royal f'ing that truly shows what a ruthless cutthroat world this is. Loyalty is meaningless, and contracts aren't worth the paper they're written on (and the money you want or can spend on lawyers.) PT drove his heart out for Penske for years and to screw him like that, to call him to a meeting under false pretenses of a sponsor meet & greet when it's actually a lawyer hatchet man to sack him was a great display of what a nasty business this is. Roger is one ice cold cat. Like showbiz, politics, and Wall Street, honesty is savagely punished in big time pro sports. You tell people what they want to hear or pay the price, and PT got one beat down of a lesson. Gary just sort of flew by that story without acknowledging it's gravity or letting Paul expound more which I found a bit weird but all in all a great honest open convo with a guy that has more than his share of them to tell. PT in the day seemed to me like a genuinely nice kid who was an incredibly talented racer who was aggressive but clean who got booted off by the likes of Michael Andretti et al one too many times and decided F it, no more Mr Nice PT and got his elbows out. No room for nice guys in this sport...at least while on the circuit. Legend.

Completely ignored his 03 title. Shame I’m sure there’s stories on that season. Lola switch etc. also the 02 Indy 500, and I would’ve loved to hear his thoughts on the split in 96

Great Podcast ......As a fellow leprechaun/ Canadian , I can completely identify with Paul's head strong approach. On a side note ......... Too bad that Tony[ Stewart] doesn't have enough control over his own SRT series that the woke ( NASCAR [ Schrader, Herman etc, ] AND PENSKE) left can bully him into a very unpopular decision.......Paul did nothing wrong. I watched and re-watched the video over again ...He was past squared up ( with Penske wonder boy - NewGarden) and had the racing line ........any other series .......it would be a non event .
