I have been waiting for this show since the announcement. Tim Burton & Addams family felt like a miracle combination. The show, story wise, did not reach my expectations since I believe it has been a bit washed by the Netflix machine.
What pleased me and convinced me to make this video is the astonishing performance from Jenna Ortega aswell as the world building & design by Tim Burton. The production was fantastic.
I now am working on a surprise video for this week-end, and the kung-fu panda video will be release in December.

The fact that Jenna Ortega showed no emotion, but showed everything at the same time makes her a master at work. Truly wonderful to see her journey.
She instantly captures you in the first second she appears on screen, and in a blink of an eye the show's over and you just feel it, everything she's feeling.

I tried to watch all her other films and shows because how versatile she can be with her acting. It's amazing watching as Harley in Stuck in the Middle and seeing her okay Wednesday here.

I loved the show, Jenna Ortega way exceeded my expectations, her dialogues were excellent. The sets were amazing, great costumes. I didn't like the parents casting too much and few things in the last episode. I'll give it an 8+. Thanks for the video guys, it's top quality as always, love the font in the end 🐾

I thought Mortica was fine cast, but Gomez and Pagsley not so muche. I'm sure they are great actors as well, but they didn't fit in the cast. They didn't look at all like there characters. And I didn't like the kissing scenes between Mortica ang Gomez. It was always an unwritten rule, that they don't kiss actually. He always kissed her arm and shoulders, but never her mouth...

@@adtayler Actually Luis Guzman looks more like the original comic character than any of the previous live actors. I did not care for the portrayal of Pugsley as being week and feckless, but it seems todays writers must portray males as such in order to make their female counterparts look strong. Its called lazy writing.
@@adtayler I agree. Pugsly could've been better casted but it's not as bad as Gomez's casting. Someone like Johnny Depp would've been perfect for Gomez. The actor that plays Gomez is a funny actor but he's not a good fit for Gomez at all. While the appearance of his character is more true to the comics than the movies, the actor just didn't fit the personality of Gomez. Uncle fester was cast good though and morticia as well as Wednesday

I've spent years asking myself why I love Wednesday. Netflix gave me that answer or at least the beginnings of one.
Wednesday is unapologetically herself. She doesn't care what anyone thinks about her and not only accepts who she is but *embraces* it. She's creepy and kooky and weird and a loner, but she's happy with that.
She has a heart, you just have to look for it. Those walls she has are sky,-high and making them come down is no small feat. It makes the moments she does show emotion (pure joy at the "blood" rain at the Rave'N, happiness at seeing Uncle Fester, distress and fear and sadness at almost losing Thing, kissing Tyler, hugging Enid) all that more rewarding.
Hey morbidity and bluntness are actually her funniest traits. Why did she build a guillotine at age 6? To decapitate her dolls more efficiently. Why else would you build a guillotine?
She's actually not that judgmental. Yes, she's rational. Yes, she'll stomp on your feelings and your heart without question, but she won't judge you without having sufficient evidence to back it up.
Wednesday is the smartest person in the room and she knows it. Catching her off guard takes almost a miracle. It's fun to watch her absolutely wipe the floor with people by outsmarting them.
Her devotion to the truth is downright inspiring. Maybe it's not always a good quality and gets people hurt, but it's inspiring.

Spectacular editing especially in the last haf of the first song. This music with the cello and her dancing was perfect rythm.

Wednesday Vs. Wednesday. If you know you. Watched this on Wednesday and finished it 10 hours later. Jenna Ortega was the perfect Wednesday. I hope they renew it for Season 2

I've never seen an actor portray so much through their eyes alone. So deadpan, but so expressive. Jenna Ortega was phenomenal.
Also loved Christina Ricci. I'm so glad she was more than just a cameo.
Loved the show. One section in particular gave me chills, the rendition of nothing else matters in episode 3. Replayed that section 7 times, chills down my spine every single time. Everything fit so well together
I couldn't help but binge watch the show...Wednesday has always been a favorite character of mine and Ortega knocked it out of the park. The entire portrayal was just glorious. Cannot wait for a second season. I have faith that once Netflix is through with it's money saving efforts and sees that this is a hit, they'll run with it and let it be what it needs to be.

I always loved Christina Ricci as Wednesday, such an iconic character... I am honest, i never heard of Jenna Ortega before (it is not my generation, i am old...) but she NAILED IT! I was able to ignore all this "highschool-drama" around it just because of her incredible performance. Although some other situations, jokes etc. were really good, also the costumes BTW, but her acting was FLAWLESS, i would love to see a second season and more... Really well done video and the song totally fits. Nice choice!

I've seen all the big shows and movies and lots of the little ones too. I've never felt so much pure joy as when I was watching this series, i was never bored or on my phone, i was on the edge of my seat waiting for every single line from Wednesday. It was a spectacular ride, and easily my favorite show of all time. Ortega gave us what i feel is an all time performance, the show has flaws for sure, particularly the whole romance plot, but my lord I just can't get over how absolutely perfectly Ortega played this character. I truly believe its the greatest acting performance I've ever seen. It was done absolutely perfectly to the point where its hard to put into words other than masterpiece, she just acted so well that you could read the characters mind, without her saying or word or moving a muscle and that just fit the character so so brilliantly. Even down to the way she talks, walks and interacts with the world, it was just flawless, I don't think there's a single thing the character of Wednesday could've done to be an improvement. As I said, the greatest performance I have ever seen.
Wednesday was right.... the suspense is killing me.

Her beauty, and the fact that she doesn’t care about what anybody thinks about her, is what attracts people to her, her intelligence, and her ability to critically think and not be impacted by emotions makes her a true leader, although she doesn’t want to lead, she for hell isn’t a follower. I admire her greatly . I look forward to seeing her grow in this Netflix series.

Me and my bro watched in couple days, really enjoyed it.
We always loved the Addams Family and Ortega really impressed me and Burton directed episodes were great.
Last two episodes could have been better but overall it was very entertaining and dialogue wasn’t as strong in last 3 episodes as earlier but still a lot better then a lot Netflix.
Her performance though was so top tier and wished they do more ruthless parody and satire of Harry Potter. I was and my brother both impressed with Jenna Ortega Wednesday and loved her getting Ricci essence too.

This series really suprised me. Yes I liked the Addams family movie but I never thought that I would enjoy this mutch the Netflix show. Jenna Ortega played a fantastic role in this. Even when she played a character whose personality could probably be linked to sociopathie, you could feel her moments of hesitation and slivers of emotions ooze out from time to time. I hated her and I loved her as Wednesday Addams. You could literally feel those moments when she stared into your soul. There were a lot of great moments in the show.
The dance sequence is an amazing moment that is very revealing of Wednesday's personality.
The cello parts were fantastic and so interesting to the ears and gave another piece of Wednesday's personality.
This as been a wonderful experience of a series and I will never get tired of listening to Danny Elfman's scores.

I have enjoyed a lot of Slyfer's trailers through the years, and I think the best ones has always been those focused around the core message and/or theme of the show it covered. "After Life | Acceptance", "Revenge | Django Unchained", and "Superman | Second Chance" for example. Watching the trailers like this one ("Wednesday Addams") that covers the plot rather than the theme tends to be stale and leaves a feeling similar to the one you get when reading the back of a book before putting it back on the shelf, whereas the first mentioned trailers give weight to emotion. Might be a personal preference, but I believe it true for other viewers as well.
