These pets in my opinion, are a good helper when you are playing hard maps like Cave, Forest or Suburbs. But the Birds and the Cat are kinda useless, IMO.
@@Forgot10Legends I never said the cat added weight or downforce to the vehicle. I just said in general how all of these pets can be used accordingly on each stage.
Also, for the dog, you can actually tell that the dog provides a "Downforce" effect when applied, as it makes the vehicle slightly heavier. Oh, and the Dog & Cat aren't detachable from the vehicle either, just to let you know.
I got the cat and I can confirm that it's detachable. It can happen once you hit some upper obstacle or even when making some sudden stunts which end with a hard landing.

The daily missions give you paint buckets 1-3 depending on difficulty
Use them to buy the pets
There should be a paint palette where you can get them
