At the 4:40 mark: After dragging the ENV1 to the cutoff knob how did you get the blue line to cover only the top half of the knob while still keeping the knob at 50% ? I'm sure its simple I just cant figure it out

in the sound file for HP Hardware 10, i believe you can hear a persons voice saying something about three-four seconds in if you hold it and solo the noise channel and listen for it really closely. i thought i was tired and hearing things lol.

At 4:38, how did he switch the envelope to only affect the higher part of the filter?

4:40 how did he do it? the blue envelope went from 100 percent left to 100 percent right, but when he clicked it went from center to 100 percent right

It is by holding shift or ctrl as you click the filter knob. I don't remember which one it is though so try both :)
You hold alt on both Mac and PC.
