Unpopular opinion, but I like the pullout animation for Navaja, that little "tick" sound is addictive.
My friend recently got a navaja and it's made me consider selling my talon cause that sound is so addicting

The Falchion honestly became my favourite, not only is it rather cheap, it gets amazing finishes with the same color handle, the inspects are clean and fun to spam and the sound of the normal inspect is just beyond satisfying!
Falchion Marble Fade is a hidden S tier knife.

For nomads I would point out, that if you're the type of person to immediately press inspect after pulling out your knife, it cuts the pulling out animation which for me personally was a big turnoff

imo con for all rare inspects - inconsistency. I just don't like when my knife randomly does different stuff, I'd rather have one consistent inspect/pullout that I enjoy

One small feature that you forgot about the survival that not many people know is that it does have a unique idle animation. Hard to describe, but the off hand will move its fingers. Subtle, but gives the knife a lot more personality imo.

A major con I have for the karambit is that if you play in 4:3 with certain view models, the knife is literally halfway off your screen when you run.
This. Also, if you have a high tier finish, it feels wasted (even in native resolution), because it's on the side of the screen. Meanwhile M9 in top tier finishes is like "BOOM MOTHERFKER RIGHT IN YOUR FACE WITH ALL THAT COLOR!"
I play 4:3 with a phase one Kara Doppler and I face this issue. I just had to get used to it lmao. With most of the view models it ain’t too egregious.
Huntsman big W. The blade shape is absolute sex.
Common Slaid W, Huntsman is definitely the best budget knife in the game.
M9 all the way. Consistent animations, massive blade (works in every finish) and fits a lot of different gloves. BFK comes second because it's fancy, but its blade gets lost for example when using Motor Gloves.
maybe one small negative of the Karambit is the corners of some finishes. some 0.01s and lower have disgusting corners which is ridiculous lol

One small con for the KARAMBIT : if you play 4:3 the blade will get cut off when running with it. You have to tweak your viewmodel a bit so it fits in the screen. In csgo you could minimize bobbing while running but you cant do this in CS2.

I feel like the Bowie and karambit have basically the exact same left hand pullout animation. Definitely close enough to where if you're bothered by one you're almost certainly bothered by the other. So I'd either put that as a con for both or neither

I have always appreciated you championing the Shadow Daggers, they really do get too much hate. Unique audio, animations, hand positions, and it drives people up the wall to be killed by "butt plugs". they even moved the Stattrak counter up onto the handle to keep the actual blade itself clean, for those who like ST knives. Though I will say, one con I've never seen anyone talk about is the fact they don't seem to have backstab animations, or if they do, they're so close to normal attacks that you can't tell in normal gameplay. That, and they moved the nametag from bottom of the right blade to top of the left blade, meaning you can't read the nametag in idle cause it's covered by your hand, and it's hidden in inspect. Never understood that change tbh.
Yep my biggest gripe with my buttplugs is definitely the lack of stabbing animations. Every other knife seem to have one except for them.
I bought Butterfly Stained (I was going for black n' white inventory), and I love it, idc what people say about Stained finish, it's honestly overhated.

You should have mentioned how some floats .37~ classic knives have a unique pattern which in my opinion makes it a lot cooler with some finishes

Shadow Dagger hate is so weird ever since they fixed the crosshair shake.
For less than a completely scuffed Bayo black laminate I bought Fase 2 Doppler Shadow Daggers and can enjoy constant zoomer adhd inspect spam while having the best finish in the game.

I think the Kukri would have been insane if they gave it a different inspect animation and I dont really like the left and right clicks on it much at all. I kind of love the blade shape and the pull outs are so sick.

Just rebind your hotkey that switches between left/right hold to something easy to press like Q or a mouse button and spam the pull out animation by swapping back and forth

How is that even a question? I'm gonna be honest but some high float M9/Butterfly Boreal Forest just looks like ass and knowing it still costs more than lots of Dopplers on other knives makes it outright sad to see.

Get a huntsman, I was about to get one but ended up getting a butterfly. The pull out animation is clean, and you can actually get a good finish instead of getting a bad finish on an expensive knife. It sounds like your price range is around 800-1k so a bayonet gama dopler would be even better if that's the case. Honestly thinking of getting one myself, the pull out animation is to clean.

This video proofs that there is no perfect knife and every skin has its pros and cons depending on the combo. Hating a Gut Knife for example because it's a Gut Knife seems unfair if you only correlate to the price of it.

I’ve always disliked the Talon and Karambit. They both seem like they would be very impractical. Where all knives are used to stab or slice, these two just don’t seem to work unless you use them like a claw.

honestly I think it highly depends on if you have/plan on getting gloves, if its black gloves I would go with huntsman and for brown I would go with stiletto👍
