@@frankievalentine6112No it isn’t. In some countries being lgbtq of any flavor is punishable by death due to mostly colonization-fed-views. In WW2 the gay and trans victims of the holocaust were some of the first taken to death camps, the Nazis burned much of the written history and science in the burning of Institut sexualwissenchaft, and during the liberation of the camps those who were lgbtq were either shot by liberators or put in jail. There is no pink triangle on the older holocaust memorials. There was the aids crisis where thousands of lgbtq died as research in a cure was intentionally delayed because to many it was a good thing lgbtq were dying. Many states still have a panic defense clause that makes it legal to kill a trans person if you can argue they made you panic at the reveal of their transness. There have been many massacres in the states, Pulse Club being a notable one in recent history, of lgbtq. A trans student in Oklahoma was recently beaten to death by their peers for being trans. Trans individuals are at some of the highest risk of being raped and killed by peers, family members, and those around them. Many trans and gay children have been killed by their parents. Trans women aren’t somehow elevated to untouchable woman+manhood that you think they are.
And for people in the comments: It's not always about "passing". Celebrating our existence at an older age is important. It's never too early nor too late to start our journeys. We CAN live long lives ❤
its trans women who are the reason we are able to have pride, started the movement and have the rights we have today. Most of my knowledge on queerness, ive learned from trans women, and without listening to them I probably would’ve never figured out I’m transmasc or understand how gender and sexuality work differently for different people. I probably never would have learned how to truly and happily be myself without them. I owe a lot to them, and even without all that I still hold a lot of love and appreciation for them. it’s so awesome and beautiful to see them grow old, especially when so much of the hatred towards trans people that I’ve seen tends to be directed at them (which is just absolutely vile in so many different ways). Trans women, I love and respect you so much. No matter what you look like or your situation. Whether you’re fat, thin, pass, don’t pass, still in the closet, loud and proudly out, black, white, brown, asian, indigenous, poor, wealthy, able mentally and physically, neurodivergent and/or physically disabled, GNC, or fall under any other category I’ve forgotten to mention, I truly really truly love you and I wish you all the best, and I wish the world were so much kinder to you wonderful, outstanding ladies. And to every trans girl out there? To those young girls still trying to figure themselves out? To those who already have? You are every bit as wonderful, and I’m so proud of you for looking into this so early in your life. I hope you get to be exactly who and what you want to be in the future. Keep on keeping on, keep being you, and if it’s safe for you, feel free to be as out there as you possibly can. Yes, even if other people think you’re obnoxious. It’s every girl’s god-given right to do so and I will personally cheer you on as you do so. I hope the world is a better place when you’re older. May you live a long and happy life. Sincerely, Some random transmasc on the internet TL;DR: trans women are the actual coolest. When you realize that if one can be masculine, they can also be feminine and vice versa. Just because you dont "normally" see it doesn't mean you can't make it happen.
What lovely, important icons these women were. People love to pretend that trans people didn’t exist before the year 2000. I love when we remember how wrong that idea is.
Im a trans-man and I wanna come out as transgender to my parents but I'm scared that they will not support me, can you give me some advice and comments that will boost my confidence?
You can try casually bringing up the conversation to see how they react to it. Something like “my school is doing transgender visibility this week” or “my friend is really excited about pride month this year” and just see where they stand on the subject without putting yourself in danger. I am also a trans man and I found just wearing things like boys underwear instead of girls really helped me, you can even do things like rolling up a sock and sticking it in the front. You can also ask for a short haircut (if you don’t already have one) and that can help, even if your parents are transphobic you can still say stuff like “can I have a haircut like this girl” and show them a photo of a girl with short hair or like “can I get a short hair cut, my hair is really long and I hate taking care of it” to kind of throw them off the scent that you’re trans (if you wanted a short haircut that is, you don’t need one to be a boy at all). Things like getting ‘masculine’ accessories like chain necklaces can also help and resources like voice training videos are available for free on RUclips and stuff.
thanks! I found this really helpful. the haircut thingy is helpful cuz my dad is homophobic and transphobic. I remember I told my mom "What if (my brother's name) was gay?" and she said if his gay he's gay, as long as he's alive. and I've been thinking of getting my hair short. thanks for the advice!
I'll say on the short hair thing; I got my hair cut short in late 2020, and it has been one of the most freeing things for me, even 3+ years later! While I identify as nonbinary, and not a trans man, just know there are people out there rooting for you, and will accept you no matter what. I hope you're doing well 💚
Im also a trans-man who is planning to coming out, if you think they don't support you, you can have friends, teachers, classmates, or any trusted guardian who will accept who you are, you can come out if you feel you are ready and also do it if the scenario is more calm yk, wish you best luck and hope they will support you :) I also did give my parents hints tho like short hair and more masculine preference on clothes, my dad is still biased against it but my mother didn't mind but I'm also afraid to tell them, maybe someday :)
listen as an enby in a red state, if you dont think its safe, dont do it. you do not need to come out. especially if it is potentially dangerous for you. theres a reason why 1/3 of homeless teens are queer.
I’m against all of this crap, but Adults CAN live the way they want, they just can’t force me to agree with them and say they are women when they are not. That’s one problem and the other is the kids, they often brainwash and manipulate children and make them think they are something they are not and then they take it a step further and mess up their bodies but putting them in puberty blockers or giving them irreversible surgery. I’m not a fan of lies so I’m not gonna tell them what they want to hear (ie that you can change your gender), but I also don’t want to control their lives, they can live how they want as long as it isn’t in my face all the time (ie pride month and all that) they make it our business when it otherwise wouldn’t be.
@@Sumayya437Which doesnt exist, theres only 2 Chromosomes XX and XY, and only 2 genders also. Males have a smaller hipbone and Femals have a larger because of giving birth, theres no “non-binary” hipbone, only Male and Female. Even your body knows what you are but not your own brain
@@SwedishOrthodoxYall do NO research before making a commemt. This makes you look stupid. The xx, xy, xxy, xxx, etc chromosomes dictate hormone washes a person receives. These hormone washes give a person hormones such as testosterone and estrogen. These hormones are what dictate sex; however, they can be changed using HRT, effectively changing a person's sex. If we go by the right's definition as "Man is adult human male" and "Woman is adult human female", trans men would still be men (because trans men are adults, humans, and males) and trans women would still be women (because trans women are adults, humans, and females). Some cis women have xy and some cis men have xx. This also applies to xxy and xxx. Some people are intersex. The hormone washes can give a person the "wrong" hormones, hence why cis women with xy, cis men with xx, and intersex people exist. All of that information is also just about sex. Sex is very complicated. Sex and gender are infact different and you do not NEED to be a specific sex to be a certain gender. Gender is ALSO very complicated.

No, not even slightly. As a natural born female I’m actually offended that people think surgically getting a vagina makes you female like nah bro you’re a man that’s TRYING to be a biological woman and failing.
As a trans man seeing trans woman content is so freeing to me because its like someone found happiness in the place i couldnt, im so glad youve found yourself :)
That’s such a cute message ❤
I find it sad how people think that trans people are going to die young 😢
It's wonderful to see those ladies
They only die young because of societies inability to mind their own business.
Until not that long, a lot of trans people were assaulted and assasined just for being trans, but people want to blame it on hormones and stuff
A lot of trans women die young because the discrimination

And after transitioning in the 1970's? Well, the photos of her in her 50's pretty much line up with my aunt now! :3
I feel blessed to have an example in my family of a trans woman who lived to old age. And have taken after her- tho in the other direction.
She sounds so fucking cool 🖤✨️

Notice the crickets, hun. This is a men's rights movement.
Trans women aren’t somehow elevated to untouchable woman+manhood that you think they are.

its trans women who are the reason we are able to have pride, started the movement and have the rights we have today.
Sincerely,
Some random transmasc on the internet
TL;DR: trans women are the actual coolest. Also good luck to any trans girls out there still figuring it out, you are exploring that particular facet of your identity at a time where that can be really really rough and I am rooting for you so hard

I hope you're doing well 💚
Im also a trans-man who is planning to coming out, if you think they don't support you, you can have friends, teachers, classmates, or any trusted guardian who will accept who you are, you can come out if you feel you are ready and also do it if the scenario is more calm yk, wish you best luck and hope they will support you :)
I also did give my parents hints tho like short hair and more masculine preference on clothes, my dad is still biased against it but my mother didn't mind but I'm also afraid to tell them, maybe someday :)
listen as an enby in a red state, if you dont think its safe, dont do it. you do not need to come out. especially if it is potentially dangerous for you. theres a reason why 1/3 of homeless teens are queer.
oh my god they’re gorgeous 🩷🩵🤍🩵🩷
As a trans person this video is so inspiring to me
Tbh, i'm not big on the LGBTQ+ community, but why can't ppl just let them live their lives the way they want?
@@Girl_on_RUclips640 it’s called non-binary.
