My favorite native plant is the butterfly milkweed.
My neighbors like it and are planting some in their yards.

That's awesome your neighbor is on board too. That always helps! Milkweed is amazing. If you ever get a chance, plant some Vining milkweed. It smells like milk and honey in the summer mornings. It is incredible.
