    1)Many of their technical elements were better than Bechke and Petrov's
    2)Kuchiki&Sand were not suited to each other in terms of age or body type. Kuchiki should have had tbe chance to partner with a younger more muscular skater.

      She was too big and hard to lift and throw.

      Them being not suited to each other in terms of age and body type is probably the best description I’ve seen. They obviously were very successful despite that but it never looked right to me. I don’t think it’s fair to blame Natasha for their inability to do some of these pair elements with enough power. Todd struggled with some of these moves even with Jenni, in part because he had back problems for years. Remember Todd and Natasha really did not skate together for a long time and she was very young, so when they weren’t skating well, the lack of unified timing really shows up. Like that twist lift. They’d complete most time but barely. He’d be ready to jump and she wouldn’t be.
