In all reality, McDowell could've slid up in front of Sheperd on exit of turn 4 for the checkered and I don't think I'd blame for a race this big. He showed his true colors by keeping his car down giving sheperd enough room to still drive by on the outside. Respectful as it gets. He could've shut the door.
