Great in-depth review! My family currently has memberships at both Sam’s and Costco. We’ve actually had our membership with Sam’s since 2000. I signed up for the Sam’s MasterCard last year for the 5% back on all purchases with my Plus membership. I see deals all the time for Sam’s Club that will refund the cost of membership if you sign up and make a purchase for the same amount as the lower priced regular membership. Costco we just added last year after seeing a Groupon deal that covered the entire membership for 1 year. So everyone should keep an eye out for deals like that that will cover the cost for 1 year. I've never been to a sam's club, but Ive seen a sign up bonus for the Costco credit card. They were giving in the warehouse 100$ off the executive membership (may have been to new Costco members as well) if you got the Costco credit card like 3 years ago. I don't know how often they do this though.

I cancelled my Costco membership because Sam's Club is cheaper for basically the same thing plus the 5% Cashback at gas station with their credit card When I got the Sam's Club Mastercard, they had a $30 credit for the approval and $100 credit after you spend $100 so it was basically a $130 SUB.
Since Citi issues the Costco card they would use Fico 8, and I want to say it’s the same for Sam’s Club Mastercard but I’m not 100% sure. Thanks for watching!

When I call the CC number I’ve been getting the same response. “Currently Sams Club credit card do not allow purchases at this business”. What? So now Sams Club credit card determines who I do purchases with? WTH?
4% cash back on gas is only at Costco gas stations. Is Sam's club the same way? Also, you get 5% back in the form of Sam's cash. Is that only redeemable within Sam's club or can you get physical cash?
Hi Mike! The Sams club 5% is available on all gas transactions where Mastercard is accepted. Usually you can only use Sams cash at Sam Clubs, not physical cash. One way I’ve seen people got around this is by buying gift cards at sams club using Sam’s cash. Hope that helps! 😁👍🏼
I feel Costco should have won on gas because it's 4% but that's anywhere, I've been a Costco member since they open feel they're a little on the racist side but do have the better all-round card has been with Sam's for well over 30 yrs also

Costco and their Visa bs ha, I’d opt for Sam’s Club they have excellent selection and an excellent credit card and accept all forms of credit!

They closed down my sams club a few years ago 😩 and the nearest Costco is about an hour away! 😢
