Absolutely my best vacation experience ever. I am not really a beach person and prefer cold to heat any day of the week. Wife pleaded to go for years. On our 20th anniversary, I caved. Now I can’t wait to go back!!! Loved it.
You did a fabulous job with Sandals Negril just like you did with Beaches Negril! My husband & I will be here next month. I am sooo excited!! I'm about to bust. Your videos are always so informative. This video helped me to plan somethings out since we will be celebrating an anniversary. Keep up the good work. Thanks for all you do and all the information that you give.
@@brookem1586 Omg, we had the best time ever! Yes, I would definitely recommend them. We had butler service and it was great. We didn't have to do anything. They left us little treats around our room everyday. They treated us like a King and Queen for our 20th anniversary. We are already planning our next trip to Sandals in 2023 but not the one in Negril. We want to do another location to see if the service, staff and accommedations are the same throughout the brand. Everyone was so nice and friendly that's one of the reasons that I love Jamaica. Go, you will not be disappointed!
@@brookem1586 no, we did not do either. We did the catarmaran and we rode Big Mable. Big Mable is an inflatable boat that's being pulled by a speedboat around the ocean. It was really fun! We had massages that were to die for. We were able to eat at all the restaurants on the property. I heard from some other guests that the scuba driving was really nice.
I love waterfront dining!!! That beach is awesome and u think I can see coral reefs. It looks awesome for beginner surfers as it’s tame. I love the over water canbannas. I prefer a coffee shop than making it in the lobby.
Honestly, I don't really go to Sandals. Prices there are pretty crazy, and I also have kids too. I honestly used to go to Tobago for my vacation; I went to Magdalena. It was one beautiful resort, and it was a bit pricey, but It was worth spending my vacation with my family there. I'm a Trini by the way and my vacation there in Tobago was really nice.
Great, informative video. A couple questions for you. In the Spa area can any guest use the stream and sauna rooms in addition to that hot and cold water pool area if they don’t buy a spa service? Also if I don’t have a butler room and am planning to go in July, how difficult is it to find loungers on the beach? I’ve heard they run out of them with people reserving them at the crack of dawn? TIA
Danny, I appreciate your videos because they are very informative and they aid me in making decisions where I spend my hard earned money. However, I think that I’m going to “zonk” you with this resort. My room just looked very old with no attention to detail with the upkeep of the property. My windows were dirty with torn screens. Although there was a flat screen tv in the room, the reception was very poor. When I walked into the room, I felt like I wasted my money! And believe it or not, you were the first person that I thought about because I could not wait to give you my opinion. As for the pool, I wasn’t impressed with main pool(lobby area) either. There was noticeable green stain or mold around the walls of the pool that just made me feel horrible about my decision even more. However, the worst part of the pool experience was when I saw a crab swimming at the bottom of the damn pool! Dude…you dropped the ball on this old resort! You need to pull this off your list of hotels!
Sad to hear you had a bad experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Negril, and we actually liked it more that some of the other properties because it is more intimate. Hopefully you still enjoyed the rest of your experience side from some minor maintenance issues. Also, the crabs do like to join the pool parties from time to time.

No surfing because there are no waves. Water is calm perfect for SUP, kayaking and snorkeling

Sandals doesn’t allow kids anyway (it’s meant for lovers, not families). Beaches is the one that allows kids. Pricing is lower during off season.

Not that busy in July - it’s low season between June and November
