I am loving your baby content. I have a 15week old baby boy and he is so much fun. I just melt when he laughs and smiles at me. The newborn phase goes so fast. Enjoy!
This was SUCH a realistic c section recovery, new baby video. I too had an unexpected c section and had not watched or researched much about them or their recoveries because I had no reason before labor to think I'd need one. But you hit the nail on the head with what this was like.
I used to get annoyed when I had questions about taking care of a baby pre birth and being told "you'll know". Now, I completely understand it. You really know.
in my experience, it helps to let go of expectations of things being how they were before. set a couple of small goals and if they happen, great. you need to give yourself a lot of grace, and know that you'll find new rhythms. also, your body has been through a lot. it will take time, but you'll be back to your old wardrobe before you know it, seriously.
New mama, you look beautiful! You are right the time will go by very quickly. I have 3 kids and time has gone by too quickly for me too. Yes, enjoy each moment. Your mindset is awesome!Congratulations, and best wishes to you and your family! ❤️🙏🏼
You’re doing the best for your baby ❤ and I totally relate about how it goes so fast! My baby is almost 8 months and the newborn stage feels like so long ago. Take care!!
You have such a positive outlook on the whole thing! I’m pregnant with my 2nd now but postpartum with my first was really challenging since she wasn’t sleeping well. I felt like a zombie when she was a newborn. I’m a little bit scared to go back there now the 2nd time around but also have a wider and more positive perspective this time which I hope will translate into a better experience😌
Congrats! Give yourself and your body lots of grace and time. I had my first baby in 2020 and second in 2022, they are ages 4 and 2 now. I just finally back to my pre-pregnancy weight after 4 years! All my clothes literally sat in the back of my closet for 4 years. Hopefully, you will take faster than me to get back to your goal weight, but it's ok if you don't. Everyone's journey is different and takes time. All the best during this time of transition. It's a time of "grieving the loss of your old life" and embracing all the new crazy changes. Life becomes so much more full, but a lot more chaotic!
Congratulations! ❤ I'm 10 months post unplanned C-section and the physical and emotional healing can feel overwhelming but it gets better with time. I'd be curious to hear how Riley and Mr. P have adjusted to the baby!
It really seems as if God has shown Himself in multiple different ways within your journey, Chloe. I'm looking forward to more content like this every now and then! And just like how you said that everybody's recovery after birth is different, I do find it interesting how things played out with you since my sister had some other challenges when she had her baby last year. I remember hearing how she developed postpartum anxiety.... she had to get some medication to help with that; that's the one major difference that I can recall. Her baby girl is about to be one year old in August, which is crazy and surreal for everybody! 😊
Agreed! He has been so kind towards us. Glad to hear you enjoyed this type of video. The recovery process looks so different for everyone, even kid to kid! Definitely a hard thing to prepare for, but grateful to be moving through it.
I hope the nurses at your hospital were helpful and understanding if you needed help. In my recovery, the last two days we had older nurses who made me feel like I was overreacting to the pain and difficulty I had walking. I’m hoping the second time around I’ll have much kinder nurses at the end. Pre-c-section my nurses were wonderful.
No need to rush, you will get back to your old sizes; maybe even better shape than before. Juggling baby and work is part of modern day women life; congrats.
Love you guys soooooo much ❤

Isn’t it wild that women are expected to go back to work after 12 weeks? Happy that you’re adjusting to the new groove, mama! 🤍
