Fun movies from this cast. Ben Stiller- "There's Something About Mary". Cameron Diaz plays Mary and it's gold. Will Ferrell- "Blades of Glory". Owen Wilson- "Shanghai Noon" with Jackie Chan. Vince Vaughan- "Fred Claus".
The scene where they are pounding on the computer and making monkey sounds is from the 1968 movie 2001:A Space Odyssey. Zoolander came out in 2001. "I knew it was you and it broke my heart" was from one of the Godfather movies. This stupid movie is so funny and the random movie references is one of the reasons why.
Ben was in a movie called "The Zero Effect". The movie is a dark comedy but Ben's role in it is the straight-man assistant to Bill Pulman's manic antisocial detective.
The exchange between Derek and Maury, where they are talking about falling off the horse and getting back on, and Derek says he is not a gymnast was remarkably accurate, as there is a gymnastics event that uses a "horse". Katinka is played by Milla Jovovich, who was a model IRL. She is also famous for the Resident Evil movies and The Fifth Element.
This movie has some quotable lines 20+ years later. Fun stuff! There were so many pop culture references and celebrities, it is hard to name them all. I'm glad you recognized David Bowie's cameo! Hey, have you guys ever seen "A Knight's Tale"? It stars the amazing, gone-too-soon, Heath Ledger. There's a pretty iconic scene where Bowie's song "Golden Years" is played. It is, for the most part, a light-hearted movie and is a fan favorite. I hope you add it to your list!
This was a total sleeper in theaters, but a rental blockbuster, as it were. It retains a cult following and for good reason. Flawlessly executed satire.

****** Guy in Cemetery, DAVID DUCOVNY trom the TV Series, "The X FILES."
Billy Zane isn't in The Mummy. He's in loads of other films. You'd LOVE "Dead Calm". Its a psychological thriller set at sea, Sam Neill is also in it and I think it's Nicole Kidman's first film too. Frightened the shit out of me when I first saw it.
Agree! I wanted to suggest "Dead Calm" to them. Terrifying!!
The reporter was Ben's wife and she was also in dodgeball
Fun movies from this cast. Ben Stiller- "There's Something About Mary". Cameron Diaz plays Mary and it's gold. Will Ferrell- "Blades of Glory". Owen Wilson- "Shanghai Noon" with Jackie Chan. Vince Vaughan- "Fred Claus".
Ben Stillerwas in The Secret Life of a Walter Mitty. That was a pretty serious role.
This is a classic 😂😂😂
Some more serious Ben Stiller rolls: The Royal Tennenbaums, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Flirting with Disaster, Zero Effect
This is one of those movies that got funnier every time I watched it. Love y’all keep up the great content
Please do ZOOLANDER 2! It’s honestly such a good sequel! Amazing reaction guys! :)
The way this was edited made it sound like he was telling derek 'we're sending you to a bidet spa'
Since you mentioned that you can't see Ben Stiller in serious roles: My movie suggestion would be "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" from 2013 😉
The scene where they are pounding on the computer and making monkey sounds is from the 1968 movie 2001:A Space Odyssey. Zoolander came out in 2001. "I knew it was you and it broke my heart" was from one of the Godfather movies. This stupid movie is so funny and the random movie references is one of the reasons why.
You can see Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson together again in 'Meet the Parents' and 'Starsky and Hutch'
You not recognising anyone but David Bowie, Lil Kim and Lance Bass is hilarious but makes me feel SO old!😩😂
Tom Scholz is a musical genius, invented the Rockman headphone guitar amp. Mr. Scholz also has a degree from MIT
Bowie played Andy Warhol in the film Basquiat about the real life 80s artist. Great film
Owen Wilson was supposed to be in Tropic Thunder, but was suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts, so they got Jack Black instead.
I forgot Mulder was in this 🤣🤣
P.S. do "Dodgeball"
This was a total sleeper in theaters, but a rental blockbuster, as it were. It retains a cult following and for good reason. Flawlessly executed satire.
When Derek says, "but why male models?" a second time, it wasn't in the script. Ben Stiller forgot his line and repeated the last one, David Duchovny just rolled with it.
The guy that played "the dad from King of Queens" is Jerry Stiller, Ben's real life dad! He was also George Costanzas dad on Seinfeld, his greatest role!
The most hilarious part is these 2 are too young to recognize this movie is one long celebrity cameo from every music/Hollywood/fashion icon from the 90s/00s
Jerry Stiller is hilarious..Ben and him are so different but they have great chemistry on film
6:54 I feel like you could label that one Zesty Robz and break the industry wide open but the look on Amber’s face says it all 😂
"The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" is a movie of Ben Stiller's that's not a comedic role. Matilda is actually Ben Stiller's wife.
Mr. Wilson and Mr. Stiller did a great movie together, based off of my favorite 70s TV cop show, "Starsky and Hutch!"
Its hilarious and in true form to paying tribute! .... Loved it! ❤️
21:35 _"If I'm correct, that's the guy in the Mummy."_
You are _anticorrect_ my friend. 😉 Although, *_Billy Zane_* was in *The Scorpion King 3: Battle for Redemption.¹* He was also the "bad guy" in *Titanic,* and the travelling actor in *Tombstone.*
Delightful reaction, as always you two!

¹ ─ And he wasn't bald in _Scorpion King 3._
❤Love the combo of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. The have some classic comedies along with Zoolander. You need Meet The Parents and Starsky & Hutch which has Will Farrell and Vince Vaughn too on your comedy list. The music in this film is the best. Wham, Freddie Goes To Hollywood, the cover of the BeeGees I Started A Joke, Blondie, MJ for the Walk Off, The Police........too many to mention.
Can’t believe they didn’t show the Mugato and his assistants exchange over the foamy latte! That’s the best part of the movie 😂😂
It’s a funny scene but definitely not the best part of the movie.
4:48 He was George's dad on Seinfeld. He's also Ben Stiller's dad in real life.
You guys need ro do Anchorman. Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd and Steve Carrell. Its probably one of the best comedies ever
It’s a VH1 production because the character was created as comedy skits on some “Where are they now” kind of show on VH1. And they produced the two movies, later.
I don't know if Ben Stiller has done a dramatic role, he was semi dramatic in The Secret Life of Walter mitty, a movie he also directed. However Will Ferrell has one dramatic role under his belt, and it is my favorite performance of his. It is a movie called Stranger Than Fiction, and it is an underrated masterpiece.
Ben Stiller's mom (Anne Meara, the protester who threw an egg at Mugatu), dad (Ballstein), sister (extra at Hansel's apartment) and wife (Matilda) were all in this movie. The guy who plays his miner father is Jon Voight, Academy Award winning actor and father of Angelina Jolie.
Jon Voight I feel brings good acting chops as an older actor - his role as the dad is fantastic. They play off each other so well.
This is a hilarious movie. You guys should watch "Along came Polly" with Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston
Did you know the dad from king of Queens is Ben Stiller's dad in real life.
@37:10 when she said, look what he's wearing, it's literally garbage. I think we've all said that when watching a fashion show 😂
