LeRoy Wolfgramm of R&B Band The Jets Interview by Max Moala - The Clues of Success Podcast - 4/13/23

Lead guitarist and band co-founder LeRoy Wolfgramm of R&B and Pop Grammy Nominated Tongan / Polynesian American family music band The Jets. Talks with Max Moala, the host of The Clues Of Success Podcast, about how the Jets band was formed thanks to their late father Maikeli Wolfgramm. In addition, LeRoy discusses how the group got signed to the MCA music label because of Jheryl Busby. He also discusses how they became the first and only Polynesian band to receive a Grammy nomination. Following that, he talks about how the original band members ended up in a lawsuit against one another. As well, he explains how they split into two separate groups and both groups toured under the name The Jets. Further, he explains how their parents brought them all back together before their father passed away, and they are now one big family again. While they still tour as two separate groups under the name The Jets, he mentions they support each other's bands and have nothing but love for one another. Moreover, he discusses the Jets' current Las Vegas residency that performs every Tuesday evening under the name The Jets 80's & 90's Experience. Located in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
The Jets are best known for their songs "Crush On You," "Private Number," "Curiosity," "Rocket 2 U," "You Got It All," "Make It Real," "Special Kinda Love," "Sendin' All My Love," "I Do You," "You Better Dance," "Somebody To Love Me," and more.

There's actually an interview with LeRoy at 17 when they were Quazar. Interesting how he had a bit of a Tongan accent.
