This is an accurate critique. The EA500 has an odd presentation that makes everything sound like live music. It gives tracks a sense of energy that plays well with certain genres (rock and electronic). It can be fun in small doses, but will quickly tire you out. The details and fun factor are good for the price, but I would pick these up as a complement to a more conventional set, than as a daily driver.

@@TheHonestAudiophile wow looking forward to it! Your criticism to the hyped em500 is much appreciated. It is a set that I use and love very much, but I agree with what you have observed. They can sound unnatural, they can become sibilant, and they are suited to specific types of music and can become annoying with other genres of music. Why do I love them? Because I listen to them precisely with those musical genres with synthetic instruments and 'processed' voices.
Absolutely agree. I now use it for the synthetic instruments, EDMs mainly. In this price range, I find the Dunu Titan S brilliant in its reproduction of natural sounds, there is a purity there that's missing in EA500. Titan S has the details, better soundstage, more purity in the vocals or natural instruments, xcellent Timbre. Its Bass, though, lacks the authority, the oomph i feel...But that apart, Titan S is great for that price point.

Orchestra Lite is an upgrade to the EA500. Better detail retrieval, resolution, more balanced and cohesive, less BA timbre. EA500 has more bass impact, more elevated mids and treble.
Hi :), the stock tips are terrible thats propably why they didnt block that outside noise for you. This reads like unconscious bias honestly. Normally I can get behind your critiques but this feels like looking for something wrong with a popular transducer. Definitely outclasses every other iem that uses this particular 10mm. Gives my Oxygen a terrifying run for it's money too... found your opinions on timbre strange as well being a person that has eclectic tastes; I listen to everything, including a lot of jazz, folk, and orchestral. 2000 Rudy Van Gelder remaster of Lee Morgan's Search For The New Land: Brass is *alive* piano/ drums/ cymbals presented accurately, standing bass is *in the room*.... nothing metallic Simon & Garfunkel The Boxer: Kick drum, bass harmonica, Martin 000-18 sound as full and alive as they ever have on anything. Yes that's how good they fit thanks to the ovalish pebble design. Coming to the sound it's simply brilliant and i have the more expensive Kiwi Orchestra Lite. So for the price to performance ratio is great. The SS is holographic. You just had to do bad review to say something different from the others reviewers who as a matter of fact have loved this pair. Disappointed with YOUR PERSPECTIVE. And to think of it I used to like your reviews and was looking forward to this one. To each his own I guess. One man's music is another's static noise. Guys go for the Simgot EA500s they punch way beyond their price!
I am glad you enjoy the EA500!
"You just had to do bad review to say something different from the others reviewers who as a matter of fact have loved this pair. Disappointed with YOUR PERSPECTIVE" You are way off, I don't do reviews just to do a bad take. I don't appreciate your comment.
Hey. Is kiwiear orchestra lite is better sounding than ea500? If yes then how much better..
I already own ea500 and planning to buy orchestra lite. Thanks
Orchestra Lite is an upgrade to the EA500. Better detail retrieval, resolution, more balanced and cohesive, less BA timbre. EA500 has more bass impact, more elevated mids and treble.
Simgot fans are usually agressive about bad reviews. They have annoying sibilants, just like the product. 🤣😂
@@fabianoberlim9636seriously... I didn't like it either but boy if you say anything against it, they swoop in...
So Daft Punk yes, David Chesky no🤔
Yes, that is a good way of putting it.
Hi :), the stock tips are terrible thats propably why they didnt block that outside noise for you. Driver is of exceptional quality and I wish you would be able to hear them after my mod, the driver filled its potential. After mod when I am deciding what to use I would grab them even more often than my Kinera nanna 2.0 or other kilobuck stuff ❤
Glad you enjoy the EA500.
You seem to love to say bad things about simgot, I guess it might be some war behind products..🤔
I have no vendetta against Simgot. This video is an honest impression of the EA500, nothing more nothing less.
2000 Rudy Van Gelder remaster of Lee Morgan's Search For The New Land: Brass is *alive* piano/ drums/ cymbals presented accurately, standing bass is *in the room*.... nothing metallic
Simon & Garfunkel The Boxer: Kick drum, bass harmonica, Martin 000-18 sound as full and alive as they ever have on anything. Strings a bit forward on analytical sources.
Different strokes for different folks I guess.
Glad you enjoy the Simgot EA500.
I was conscious and wasn't bias but honest in the review just like you are with this comment.
Thanks for watching and commenting.
IMO I assume that you received a bad set...
😂 nope! inToit Reviews has a similar take and this is his pair.

I love it how an alternative view is automatically written off as quality control issue.
If someone has a known good set, I am willing to listen.
@@TheHonestAudiophile it's unlike you to bring other reviewers' opinion to support your own🤔
inToit Reviews loaned the EA500 to me. I am referencing his review to show that other reviewers feel the same way about the EA500. I don't need other reviewers to tell me what I am hearing, I know what I am hearing. I don't depend on others to tell me how gear sounds.
@@TheHonestAudiophile NOT funny...
Someone got a sim?
not a very good open box presentation.
