Seriously stay away from these guitars, everything about these guitars are complete trash!!! I owned the sa160L love it but still trash. Next I had the S420L and now thought I would try the Ibanez azes40. Total trash all three guitars trash. To all those wanting a cheap guitar PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can't stress enough about this. Save your money. Get one for gigging but your going to need to custom a he'll of a lot. First get rid of that terrible bridge and tuners. Garbage. Then get it re fretted then change the string to Elixir 11. Then get the inside electric part fitted with copper conductive shielding. Not black paint. Only cheap people do that. Then your about to go. Lastly get rid of that shit cheap nut get a bone nut. Then buy a Suhr guitar or a PRS. You will never look back. Trust me.
As left hand player myslef Hendrix is one of my favorite guitar players and i really love that there's more left handed guitars being made as right now the choice is quite narrow for us lefties! Thanks very much Mr. Fujita
Found one in Myrtle beach sc before we left and I’m so glad I did. It sounds, plays, and feels awesome! I’ve never really held a high end lefty but this is the closest I’ve felt to it
Cool video! I am left handed, but i play on a right handed guitar. When my brother was teaching me he told me i could learn on a left hand guitar, but they were not as widely available and that most guitars were right handed, so i figured it made sense to try and learn to play on a right handed guitar, so i did. It also makes sense to me as a left handed person to play on a right handed guitar because more of the intricate work is done with the left hand on the frets anyway so it felt natural from the start. I do like the idea of having a left handed guitar to play right handed with the strings upside down, i think it would help come up with chords, riffs and melodies that you would not normally think to play.
So many left handed guitars come only in the boring colours, but this one is beautiful. I like that it is not too big also - more comfortable to hold. The 25” scale and 10” radius also seem perfect to me. It is going on my shopping wish list. Great design specs!

I did not know you had a small piece in the creation of this guitar. I recently purchased a S series (H-S-S) and swapped out the stock pickups for Seymour Duncan's. Had I known I would have just looked into an AZ.
Ibanez so great company, even hearing people's(This case Tomo's) requests and doing those lefties🎸. I have six guitars and two of them Ibanezies. I don't mind if they all are Ibanezies. My main guitar is custom made JEM.
