I think it should work with the Rane 4! These headphones can be used wirelessly and also through hard wire. I saw that you posted a video reviewing the DJ Controller and I'm definitely considering it! My DJ friend uses the Rane 1 and I personally use the Denon MCX8000 controller for gigs.
It’s funny how battery power and ease of use masks the quality of a lot of today’s tech. Although these seem great, you are right by opening with the major consumer battery demand. Thanks for sharing.
It's unfortunate, but true, Sean. Even with the devices I do use that have quick charge capabilities, I never use the maximum amount of power that I can pass through them. A good example is with many phones that support insane charging speeds. As much as it is nice to have this feature, it's not that practical for most. I also agree that it's a tactic that many brands emphasize on, which then in return may cause other shortcomings.
