What a legend Mark is. Would be great to see become F1 World Champion. The fact that someone like him drives an RS Porsche for fun, tells you everything you need to know about them as a drivers' car.
@peperboots Have you driven both? Although the fact that Porsche continues to offer a true manual is commendable. I have driven the 997.2 Carrera S and it exceeded all of my my expectations. To me it was more fun than juggernauts like the Lamborghini LP-640 and the Nissan GT-R.
@liftedview they both have been tested by car magazine and the 458 was faster, all though i too believe it´s faster on most tracks. It was tested in Japan against the 2012 GT-R and LFA and it had the fastest time.

@tdecarne You think he owns example 000/500? You can put the air conditioning and radio/satnav back in the car as options. I know with the Cayman R that I looked at its a no cost option.
In CAR Magazine's 2010 Performance Car Of The Year showdown (including the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superlegggera, Ferrari 458 Italia, BMW M3 GTS, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and other such super cars) every journalist wrote that they were too affraid to push the GT2 RS to it's limits, stating that "there's no doubt that if you're to get close to the GT2 RS's potential you'll need both skill and a pharmacy full of brave pills". 1:07 Webber shows how it's done! Perfectly sideways. Balls of steel.
Mark paid full ticket price for this car, and he did so because as he said "it's timeless, they only made 500". Id have to agree, the best Porsche 911 made to date.
I applaud you Webber for leaving F1, your own team was against you, Vettel had all the perks and you had the shit, I'm glad u left and are enjoying yourself more. Good luck for the future

@engared This has exactly the same phylosophy as the GT3 it is an (RS), with the advantage for beeing more powerfull, more torqy and very lightweight! Unless you don´t like turbos.... With the GT3 RS 400 you´ll never get this kind of performance even in the corners... One thing is true, i´ve never driven a six cylinder normaly aspirated engine as good as the GT3 RS 400, but that kick you feel on your back when turbo opens it´s something else!!

The only reason he chose a Porsche was due to the fact that the MP4-12C and the 458, arguably the two best super cars in the world today, are made by Redbull rivals. He simply wouldn't be allowed to be seen driving those two.
Some people have no taste. The 987 was good looking, hell the 986 wasnt even bad. The 981 is really sharp though. Sounds and drives awesome too. can't wait to see the new Cayman.
