Dr. MGR-JANAKI College for Women is celebrating 'AADI PERUKKU' festival in its campus (RA Puram) on 31st July, Wednesday between 12 noon and 1 pm. More than 3000 students all clad in traditional half-sarees and sarees wl float lamps in artificial pond, wl exchange special home-made variety rice including Chitra Annam. Village sandhai kadai, parrot astrologers etc., is to add to the festivity. Students will perform traditional folk dances during the occasion.
