@@SouthysFishing thanks buddy the new boat looks fantastic too , I am still on my sib but dreaming of a warrior/orkney or seahog , I would need to moor the boat and mooring places are like rocking horse poo where I am
thanks mate yeah she is a beauty!! Yeah I had trouble finding a mooring but got a bit lucky in the end as a friend had their boat in the same mooring.
Looks a nice place to fish, if you want to know everything about SPJ you should speak to the guys at Lure Heaven, they were the ones who brought and introduced slow jigging to the U.K. many moons ago
SPJ is def a method not to be ignored. Have a look at Kabura jigs too, bait them with 3 inch slivers of squid, drop to bottom & wind in slowly. You will catch everything thats down there, its such a good method & rarely used here in the uk.
I reckon slow jigging will get very big in uk it’s deadly for deep water bass,I normally put a livebait out the back when drifting as that will get the bigger bass, also if you put a bow electric engine with remote on your boat your get much better drifts and for longer , spot lock is what you really want when there in A tight mark, good luck with the slow jigging, tightlines 😎🐟🇪🇸
@@SouthysFishingforsure a bow electric engine is game changer for drifting jigs etc, mini kota if your looking for a name or A water snake or haswing also very good much cheaper too, need 70 or 80lb trust for that boat,I would also say use the Chinese copy’s of those pricey jigs when fishing snaggy marks as there’s very little difference in them metal is metal lol and they catch ,also spider wire / Powerpro is as good as any jigging braid catch wise for bass I’ve found ,Look forward to your next uploads tightlines 😎🐟🇪🇸
ok thanks, yeah you are right I’ve got a fair few Temu ones and they are very similar I may just change the hooks! Ok I will have a little look and see what I can find, thanks for the help.
@@SouthysFishing hi mate ,yes temu is good for small micro jigs ,definitely change the hooks , Ali express is good for the larger jigs your using ,I still use expensive jigs if there abit special action wise or colour etc , good luck with your jig fishing ,tightlines 😎🐟🇪🇸
