I’ve never understood why so many people gravitate towards the automatic prx models. The entire vintage appeal of this model is around the fact that it came out originally as a quartz watch during the “quartz crisis” era. Wearing an automatic PRX would be like wearing a quartz speedmaster.
I purchased the green powermatic 80 in May instantly became my daily. Mint arrived 2 weeks ago and love it. (Already received more complements on it then the powermatic) I prefer the automatic movement, waffle dial, and boarded date window in the powermatic. But for under $400 you really can’t beat this watch. Also looks similar to the Tiffany Patek. If you’re in the market for a Tiffany Patek save yourself a couple Ms and just get the Tissot 😂
I have the dark blue powermatic and loved it so much I picked up the gold PVD quartz variant. My little brother sees them in my wrist constantly and has grown a liking for them so I bought him this tiffany dial as a bday gift. Tissot really knocked it out of the park with this piece.
I’m wearing my Tudor Royal (Two-Tone) but I recently picked the PRX Mechanical as a gift for my best mate. He is not really a watch guy, but seeing him blown away by the dial and watch I can tell it was the right choice. This watch is for sure a winner!
Tissot needs to show more love to the 35mm versions. Wish they had the brushed dials instead of the sunburst dials. The 40mm is way too big for me, so I decided to buy the white/silver 35mm dial as it was the most versatile color and the date window color matches better IMO. Hoping to see what they come up with when they release the automatic version in 1Q 2023.
I have the ice blue/light blue 35mm quartz version and love it. As has been said it’s just such a wild value proposition at less than $400 USD. Even gifted one ti a friend and she loves hers too.
I’m really drawn to this mint green PRX model more than the gentleman 80. I think it’ll make a great summer watch especially since I live so close to the beach.
I prefer 39mm to 45mm cases & vibrant colors, so this watch is right in my wheelhouse. Usually not a fan of quartz, but this design is appealing & price point is excellent.
I was torn between prx and gentleman, in the end I bought Tissot Gentleman powermatic 80 blue version which I'm wearing. Seeing this colour prx though I agree with you it's nice, I'll be tempted to get one if they bring it out in automatic.
The PRX is a great looking watch but I have a small wrist and automatic version is too big for. I also prefer the bezel of the quartz version but I really do want the automatic movement. I´m stuck here
I've just received my mint green (Tiffany blue) Tissot PRX today pal. It's a very loud watch lol! Got it from Goldsmiths with a 15% discount code even after the price hike it still only cost £272.00 with free next day delivery.
I waited for a long time before getting a PRX and it was this exact model, I just love the green! It came last week and I could not take it off for the first 5 days (nights aside...), usually I have my watches much more on rotation. The bracelet and the dial are just perfect! The only minor gripe I have with it is that the alignment with the minute markers is off by quite a bit.
I have just sourced both the quartz and the Auto , with extra leather straps, to see which is the better, however I am not impressed by the "quick change" system as the angle of the bracelet means you need to employ your local imp to squeeze the action and the leather strap is not very impressive.
I want the quartz version for my wife, but in a smaller size! Hopefully, they'll bring that out. She doesn't wear a watch every day and won't want to keep setting the time, so the quartz is ideal.... Just too big.
I gifted my brother a Dark Blue PRX for our birthday. Loved it soo much, I went and bought one for myself 😅 The ‘Tiffany Blue’ is honestly so beautiful.
Not all facial tissue is Kleenex but we call all of them Kleenex Not all Saran Wrap is Saran Wrap but we call it that. Tiffany is a household name and that color is trademarked so I understand where we got this from
Interesting that this noo mint one has no bezel round the date. There was a blue auto one on sale in Glasgow this week with a date bezel which was floating about the dial.
I have the prx quartz in blue 40mm. I realize after buying that the 35mm fits way better on me. I don’t care if it’s considered a girls watch. Anyways. I’m looking for an gold prx 35mm if anyone wants to get rid of it let me know!
Never seen Tiffany blue. More like a light sea/mint green. Not keen on the vertical striations tbh. Much prefer your dark green one, which is also automatic 👍🏻
So, the 'community' will call it Tiffany blue? Err, no. I think its just RUclipsrs that seem obsessed with calling every shade of light blue to light green Tiffany blue despite most of the colours being nothing like! Regardless, nice colour.
how about saying wrist size instead of being vague with "slightly slimmer wrist"? What is the point to say more words in order to say less information? And put wrist size caption when doing wrist shots. I am shocked that long time watch youtubers do not get how important that is
Nothing against fair market supply and demand, but scalpers ruined this release. This is sold out everywhere except secondary markets at 30-45% markup. Suggestion: those of us that can afford to buy one at ripoff price should buy it, wear it it 10 days and return it before the 100% refund expires. These guys get stuck with worn stock just as Tissot drops the next batch. I know chrono24 has such a policy. Not sure about ebay or other platforms.
My issue with Tissot is the build quality and lack of warranty support. My quartz prx went out in 7 mos. I rarely wore it, and kept it in a watch box. It cost me 155 bucks to repair its eta quartz movement while under warranty. I had a gentleman tissot with the powematic 80. It lasted 2 months longer. Once again, under warranty and it's like pulling teeth. Another watch, I may have worn a dozen times. Kept in a watch box. Both watches, just normal wear, no longer work. I'm sticking with seiko. No more Tissots for me. Seiko build quality is the best in the business.
I’ve never understood why so many people gravitate towards the automatic prx models. The entire vintage appeal of this model is around the fact that it came out originally as a quartz watch during the “quartz crisis” era. Wearing an automatic PRX would be like wearing a quartz speedmaster.
Cuz the waffle dial is also what AP uses so it’s also the selling point.
@@alycks6056 how is that a selling point??
@@whereRbearsTeeth because people want a watch that looks like an AP
@@user-bf3ep8tg4k lol, a PRX looks nothing like an AP. It looks like a $300 watch, especially the waffle dial automatic.
Because people don't want to keep changing batteries.
Currently wearing green PRX with quartz movement, beautiful and eye catching watch
Epic
Just got this beauty today. Absolutely gorgeous!
I purchased the green powermatic 80 in May instantly became my daily. Mint arrived 2 weeks ago and love it. But for under $400 you really can’t beat this watch. Also looks similar to the Tiffany Patek. If you’re in the market for a Tiffany Patek save yourself a couple Ms and just get the Tissot 😂
The only problem is: there isn't one to be found for buying
I have the dark blue powermatic and loved it so much I picked up the gold PVD quartz variant. My little brother sees them in my wrist constantly and has grown a liking for them so I bought him this tiffany dial as a bday gift. Tissot really knocked it out of the park with this piece.

My friend's never buy my sh*t they just call me a fagg*t. You're a good friend.
I have the blue Powermatic 80 which I purchqased three months ago. Love it. Agree with you about wishing this color was offered with a Powermatic 80.
Love the colour. I was wearing my PRX quartz today with white dial. Love the brushed effect on the dial. For under £300 you can't go wrong.
Agreed! For this price it’s a huge piece of kit.
It’s NOT tiffany blue. Wtf. it’s obviously mint green. Stop confusing this just for clicks. Be an honest broker and do better.
Tissot needs to show more love to the 35mm versions. Wish they had the brushed dials instead of the sunburst dials. 35mm is for women and gays!
Recently bought the PRX auto green dial and I love it. I am seriously considering this as a cheeky Christmas present to myself.
I have the quartz PRX in blue it’s my favourite watch right now 👌🏽
I have the ice blue/light blue 35mm quartz version and love it. As has been said it’s just such a wild value proposition at less than $400 USD. Even gifted one ti a friend and she loves hers too.
It’s like a sea foam green and it looks great
I’m rocking the blue P80 model. It’s my daily driver and I love it. I even bought the leather strap for more fancy occasions.
My wife and I have bought each other Tissot PRX. She is getting me the blue auto and I am getting her the small light blue quartz for Christmas.
I got one. Found all these RUclips’s after I bought the watch. I know a buy when I see one. Great watch ⌚️ l like it also 👌🏻😊🏆
That dial color reminds me of a mint ice cream!! Fantastic watch!!😍😍😁
White faced PRX quartz in my collection. Grab and go. That one looks lovely though!
I have the 35mm version in light blue. It fits my small wrist amazingly and being such a small watch gives it a very elegant and classy look!
So I was told the 35mm were the womens version watch, are they unisex?
I was torn between prx and gentleman, in the end I bought Tissot Gentleman powermatic 80 blue version which I'm wearing. Seeing this colour prx though I agree with you it's nice, I'll be tempted to get one if they bring it out in automatic.
Just got this exact watch..I use it to save wear and tear on my gp laureato...it's more than a great look
I’m wearing a 1976 rolex oyster perpetual. It was my dads and I just got it back from servicing .
I have the blue automatic version: beautiful, I also bought the
blue leather strap and looks really elegant
The PRX is a great looking watch but I have a small wrist and automatic version is too big for. I also prefer the bezel of the quartz version but I really do want the automatic movement. I´m stuck here
Great watch might be my first tissot! Wearing my zenith defy skyline white dial today 😊
Love the Skyline!
I've just received my mint green (Tiffany blue) Tissot PRX today pal. It's a very loud watch lol! Got it from Goldsmiths with a 15% discount code even after the price hike it still only cost £272.00 with free next day delivery.
PRX is a superb entry to the world of watch collecting
Just got it a beautiful watch !!!

That’s most quarts movements. I have a tag with the same movement and it costs 7/8x more then the prx
bloody cool indeed
I have this very model on now. It’s really nice.
are these pop off case backs ?
I have exactly the same watch, same colour with quartz movement.
got mine blue quartz just recently as a first watch
I have just sourced both the quartz and the Auto , with extra leather straps, to see which is the better, however I am not impressed by the "quick change" system as the angle of the bracelet means you need to employ your local imp to squeeze the action and the leather strap is not very impressive.
Wearing the gold 40mm prx, really reallyyy good quality for that money, this might be my next
i just got this exact watch - at discount. it sits big lug to lug but looooove it
agree what you say about the dial and logo
I want the quartz version for my wife, but in a smaller size! Hopefully, they'll bring that out. She doesn't wear a watch every day and won't want to keep setting the time, so the quartz is ideal.... Just too big.
Even the 35mm version?
@@rafaelsoares7121 I don't think this dial is available on the 35mm?
@@_kowono oh, when it comes to this color, I think you're right!
I love color in my watches. This mint color ranks up there with the Oris Pro Pilot in salmon.
I gifted my brother a Dark Blue PRX for our birthday. Loved it soo much, I went and bought one for myself 😅
The ‘Tiffany Blue’ is honestly so beautiful.
It might just be a bit more "mint" than "Tiffany" to my eyes, but maybe the screen I'm watching this on is deceiving me...
Does the second hand still miss all the second indices? Or did they fix it.
Want both
i have the prx 35 mm in the dark green. but I really wanted this one too!
are you able to get the battery replaced if the battery dies?
I got that colour 😍 wow it Beautiful so happy days 😍
Do you guys predict that Tissot will release more variants of the PRX 35mm with a fluted bezel?
Is this a limited edition Tissot?
I'd fancy an automatic with the dials from the quartz range. I'm not a big fan of the hobnail dial.
Today I am wearing my Reverse Duoface
Not all facial tissue is Kleenex but we call all of them Kleenex
Not all Saran Wrap is Saran Wrap but we call it that.
Tiffany is a household name and that color is trademarked so I understand where we got this from
I have a tissot exactly which you are reviewing
The Tissot Tiffany blue what is actually green
I just got this!! ❤
Today im wearing my PRX(Powermatic blue), tmrw is my Longines 🤙🏼
Is this the 35 or 40mm variant?
Wearing the ice blue PRX 35mm:) honestly an amazing watch!
It seems to look green in some images and blue in others. Optical illusion or different models?
It does change in the light I find

Whereabouts in Glasgow?

Is this model having ladies variant? 36mm?
Does it actually look tiffany blue in real life it looks more green on this video and the photos

What's your wrist size?
Hi does anyone know the Real battery life of the prx? Thanks
Give me a 35mm version and I will buy it immediately.
Any idea if I could manually remove the seconds hand? It would look absolutely great without that seconds hand.
You can.

I've the green powermatic 80 as my daily, but this color make the doubt grow on me 😅

Guys someone help!!! What is the official name of this color? How tissot call this on their website?
light green my friend :)
TISSOT SUPERSPORT GENT, THE BEST
Mine came and isn’t ticking any suggestions??
Maybe a flat battery. If you bring it in to your local CH we can have a look at it for you.
