i never understood why RATP operate a bus out to Camberwell (Walworth)

The other end of route 148 is very close to their Shepherds Bush garage, so while it does stand out as the only RATP route in the area it's really no different to Metroline running the 168 to Old Kent Road or Go-Ahead the 36 up to Queen's Park.
