We greatly reorganized our space and 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 is probably the most important.
Once you establish that the space will be tidy it will stay that way.
I manage our sound room and did a major cleanup and enforce these rules.
Other tips raceways, cable bins, mic storage, battery bays, and shelving. I even used a tall shoe rack as a shelf.
They are sturdy and cheap. I also used an office cabinet for storage.

Shoe rack would be great for a ton of small items! Office cabinet too, especially if you need some lockable storage as well. We don’t use a ton of batteries, I just keep some 9v and the small 3v batteries in a drawer, I’d imagine you’ve got some chargeable wireless units in your setup and a bay for them is great!
Hope all is well with you!

@@BlackBridgeSound so we run a sound room for a church so our needs our unique. I need lockable storage because our room is in an open space and people like to borrow move things. For battery storage yea we have an 18 bay holder for all of our AAs for our wireless mics. I like the idea of the clear bins. Raceways have helped too. Do you have an email or fb I can send the before and after too?

Spagettifying. It's a thing. Cable ties will cure it, for sure - even in your hair.
Oh yes, and I'm not worthy, not even close... lezz go.

I tried cable tying up my hair and it’s not as good as a trusty hair tie!
