The color is definitely same as midnight or dawn color. When its 2am you will see outside the sky with this color some kinda dark but some stars lighted making color midnight. Amazing,

I was hoping he would compare the 13 mini midnight to 12 mini black because I think there is a difference between the colors. I have a black leather apple wallet and I bought a midnight leather case and had to return the case because the difference between the wallet and the case were so very subtle but it was just enough that it didn’t look good together. Great video. I DO wish the all black was the option with the Pro Max this year, just looks really nice on the regular 12s (Missing that iPhone 7 look). No massive big deal though. The printing on the box...1:33 YES, I noticed that also. It almost looked like a bootleg. I've seen bad AirPod Pro Clones with similar printing on those boxes. Perhaps cutting back on ink with the printing, but it's not really just that, the design (CAD, Stock Photo..whatever) of the phone on the box looks way off. Odd. The phone itself, so far so good. As long as Apple didn't cheapen the battery this time, not having this start degrading after 8-9 weeks...that would be great. My experience with the 12 Pro max battery from Feb. to Sept. was miserable to be honest. Traded that lemon in for the max value.
iPhone 7 blacks were the best of all time the matte on the 7 was my favorite Matte until the S21 ultra came out but the jet black from the 7 is definitely in my top 3 My top 3 are 7 gold 12,13 pro gold and 7 jet black for sure

In person it’s actually very dark navy blue under bright light/sunlight
For the most part it’s black, just because that’s obviously the intention. But a sharp eye can tell this is a very very dark blue.
It depends on the person's cone cells, they are responsible for colour vision (and eye colour sensitivity).

Actually Midnight is supposed to be a blackish dark blue! That’s why the box also has more of a blue tint to it!
