if the cable is sticking, i would take it off and let it soak in deisel fuel over night. Thats a quick fix. and you have it going again?! I thought the cam gear broke??
I'm 99% sure you found the problem too because I have the same problem. The clutch pack is sticking and it takes time for the clutch to engage. I've found that if I rev the engine a bit it will break apart the pack and I can get into neutral or stop rolling forward and backward for 10 feet before the clutch engages. I know exactly whats wrong but can fixed it. I tried new clutch, different oils like slick 50 and constant readjustments. my next step is to try some Royal Purple syn 10w 40 wet clutch oil but this is probably a waste of time. I'm convinced there is nothing wrong and this is just a bad design. Did you correct your problem? and if so please share.
Do u think it could cause a chirping noise when u release the clutch it works when u pull it in but release it and it does it but it don't got to be pulled very far to get it to shift into the next gear
when you put it in gear you can still turn them but they are very hard because your turing everything over in the transmission. why was you trying to push start it? did you get the cam fixed?? and it should be alot easier to push with the clutch lever pulled in. is it not disengaging?
hey im having trouble getten my clutch to engage tight i put it back together the right way and everything when i go to pull the clutch i have nothing idk what to torqe the springs to or if that has anything to do with it either can u help me plz
