Super interesting video ! I had kinda theorycrafted the match up by watching him play so that I feel like it's a fun and skill match up when playing it (mistakes are punishing tho). But I still struggle very hard vs Urgot and Quinn. I would love to see how he deals with them to see if he manages to create any advantage other than not dying and going down a bit cs wise. I've found myself enjoying your videos alot lately, especially the analytic ones and I would really like to see a guide on how these high elo rivens play out the mid-late game with a lead, no lead etc. It's something I struggle with personally and I throw my lead a lot and it's a thing that is not discussed a lot, so yeah would really be interested in something like that. the combo at 6:08 is wrong buffering e r whip will come out slower than buffering e whip r, the same way how u can r w but not w r. (and theres no 2 aa after the q3)
It's a nice guide, but at the end of the day it's all about microgame, limit knowledge and some coinflip plays, because tbh Renekton is the hardest matchup for Riven, and you need some good mechanics and risk into all in plays
Riven win early game against nasus. Try to get lv 2 first. Also when lv 3 get close enough to do Q+W+AutoAttack then go back with E, if he put slow to you you will still have 2 more Q to run away. Do this everytime to trade him and do damage.
Am I the only one who has a hard time against Gragas. Is gragas matchup easy? I mean popular western challengers mention how OP gragas is all the time.
@@fajson239 only when gragas misplays aslong he has his e you wont ever win a trade vs him and when you go even in lane he will have way more dmg than you gragas is stupid strong
This is a bad guide and i will tell you guys why. A good renekton starts w lvl 1 vs riven then he goes even. 2ndly you rush tabis as rene and will be unkillable lvl6. So you wont be able to get ahead as riven. If you dont get ahead pre6 enemy jgl will come top and dive you and lane is over. Always ban renekton…

IMAGINE XD Lvl 1 : Renekton W is single target damage ability, that stuns for 0,75s if I'm correct. The CD is 16 seconds with a single point in it. Riven Q is AOE damage ability that knocks back enemies. Passive : Renekton has to auto 10 times to get 50 fury (5 fury per AA) less if under 50% of his HP (7,5 fury per AA). Useless level 1. Riven passive can give her 5, 6 empowered autos on a single trade level 1. Because of how Q works. But will mostly give 1 or 2, sometimes 3. Even if Riven commits hard in renek wave wasting Q and gets stunned inside it and fulltank all minions she will still have wave control and lvl 2 advantage. This is so important. After this she can stack and crash and dive with jungle. Imagine this riven pushing level 1 with autos only, remember the goal is to get wave control. Renek would do the same, autos only. But Riven can trade and push. Renek cannot do this. Either he trades with W and lose every pressure since he's now on a 16s CD, or he takes Q and try to contest the push but loses trade hard. There is no good solution for Renek. I saw XCM starting E against Riven just to get the first 3 melees exp and get back to safety. Good rivens zone renek easy level 1. Just as a toplaner, if you play a bruiser that needs wave control, don't leash ever. And explain to your Jung why so he doesn't tilt.

Tip for Garen : learn to master the E+W combo, whenever Garen's Q animation goes out on you, use it + dont take long trades whenever he has E up

Thanks for the comment but late game doesn't exist in China 💀 They just perma fight in midgame until the other team surrenders

Can you do one against Aatrox? I always lose against Aatrox in split 2. I used to beat him all the time.

Gragas is a neutralizer for Bruiser mat jups, he has a lot of disengage so it's hard to interact with him
