Santana saw Brittany was unhappy and unselfishly gave Brittany the freedom to find happiness but with hopes that Brittany returned to her in the end. Same as Finn did with Rachel when he let her take the train to New York alone in S3. She loved her all the way till season 6 where they got married. However not saying they were always perfect but if you watch all seasons you'll see Brittana had a stronger but more reserved connection then the other 2, thanks to naya and Heather who created this pair in season 1 with their minimal air time. It started because Heather and naya became best friends instantly so the chemistry showed on screen.

Noctis Caelum Santana's is the best overall performer in the group though... she should've been given more solos during all those sectionals, regionals, and national performances. But they focused so much on Rachel and Finn.

this episode fucked me up. Only four episodes in and literally every relationship from the first three seasons is - boom - over. I think they were all good for different reasons. Rachel was very good a performing, but Mercedes and Santanna could just flat out sing.
I think all of them are amazing singers. Mercedes and Santana have voices suited for pop music or R&B, while Rachel's voice is more for theatre.
The actress who played Rachael did several Broadway shows as a young girl before Glee

this episode fucked me up. Only four episodes in and literally every relationship from the first three seasons is - boom - over. And what makes it even worse is that Rachel & Finn - and Lea and Cory - never got a second chance because Cory Monteith died. (Rest in peace, Cory. you've been gone three years and it still makes me cry xx)

Naya put so much emotion into this small song and made it out into something absolutely touching and iconic. I kid you not, there are tears in my eyes as I'm writing this and I have never fully watched Glee nor seen the development/storyline of Britana but gosh, this is absolutely amazing. Got chills throughout the entire 2 and a half minutes :')
