I put one on my Case IH 16 row 1200 PT spring of 2020 and liked it. Got 15 more today and they are redesigned. Wow these look easier to install! I can’t wait to get them on this weekend (3-26-2021). Thanks for the video!

It looks great, and kinda tempted....But.. thats a lot of washers, and sockets to need in the field if we have a bearing go out on that gauge wheel, or the disk itself. $94 for 1 actual row, $47 per side. VS $12 for new gauge wheel pin. How much better is it being greasable?

      Brent thanks for your question!
Let me do my best to answer for you!
Yes its $84/ row ($42/side) however they are sold by the row. We all know most farmers carry at least an adjustable wrench in the cab of their tractor at all times and, as stated, you can do this with an adjustable wrench.
The biggest problem with the OEM setup is you cannot effectively get and keep your gauge wheel tight to the disk opener.
This does a few negative things:
First when there is space you get a "rooster tail" of dry innutritious dirt flying up and landing directly on top of you seed in the furrow and preventing it from having good seed to NUTRICIOUS soil contact.
Second, when there is space between the disk opener and the gauge wheel, in wetter planting conditions the potential for the gauge wheels to plug with mud is substantially higher.
Additionally, when the gauge wheel pin $12/side $24/row wears it is from the metal on metal contact with the gauge wheel arm which also wears ($100/arm $200/row)
Then by the time your buy new arms, pins, and shims, the core problem still persists.
With the kit in the video, you can use your old worn out arm and it will still run tight to the disc openers.
The bottom line on this product is it's a one time fix for less than the cost of new proven to fail products, with an agronomic benefit and increased uptime.
