Thank you very kindly to Mark for the time he spent with us over the time of our trip. It was such a memorable experience for me! Развлечения
Good tour, enjoyed it. Some of that was not what I expected to see in a chainsaw museum though. When I think chainsaw museum I expect the 090, 070, you'll always see a 056 somewhere, and for McCulloch, you see stuff like a 250 and of course a group of 10-10's which he did have there. It was nice to see the old Homelite XL-2 which I had as a kid sitting right next to a Homelite 240 that my buddy had at the same time. One of my parents has a picture of me and this other kid, about 12 years old, sitting on our firewood pile posing with these Homelites, cigars in our mouths, and the old 1st generation Ford bronco we used as a skidder/forwarder, along with our Honda ATC 3-Wheelers that we also used as our first skidders in places the Bronco wouldn't go. What a start to the wood business. So, I guess it was a perfect museum tour because that's the point of those saws. We didn't have an 090 or an 056, but as the guy said, a lot of people see something on his shelves that either they had or their dad, etc.
Excellent Mark and Chris. Woody Strommen is about an hour away from me and told me a long time ago that Mark got his BP-1. Woody bought out John Coppernoll's McCulloch dealership in Stockton, Illinois which is 25-30 minutes away from me to John's old farmhouse, as it was on his farm.
Mr. Mark Heimann thank you so much for sharing your collection and Chris … thank you so much for getting this on video and sharing it with us… absolutely wonderful guys!!! Just fantastic!!! I’d absolutely love to soak in all those wonderful saw’s and other pieces of equipment on day! Absolutely beautiful collection and thank you so much for all this wonderful information about the history of our wonderful hobby!!! Man O man!!! Just wonderful stuff!!!
Great video. Putting this on my to do list.
Worth the trip!
Great video! Grew up with McCulloch saws! Lovem till this day and still own a few. Used and wore out many, saved just some Thanks for the Tour
The chainsaw world is a small one for sure. I just found this channel, even though I've bought from your Ebay store, probably 15 times or so and only put everything together when I saw ya on OPE. Clicked on the store link that's below when you post and recognized the Traverse Creek name from your The Duke's Saw Parts on Ebay.
I've seen Mr. Heimann's posts on there and if I recall, this museum was built from the ground up for this museum (I could be getting it crossed with someone else on the site, but I think it was). I'm glad to see it done and appreciate the walk through and interview with Mr. Heimann. Thank you!
awesome video Chris, what a really neat collection. I'm not a McCulloch guy but I could probably spend a whole day looking at everything there.
His place is really great. I've kinda always likes some of the Macs, so to see a lot of them there is really a sight...
Great tour and info. Thanks Mark for helping me out with some parts here in Wisconsin for my 10-10. I heard someone questioning the pronunciation of McCulloch as to whether it had a "k" sound at the end. I'm 72 and I remember the McCulloch jingle back in the 50s "You're in luck, if you got a McCulloch chainsaw." That might offer some closure to the question??
Hey! Thank so much for your comment!
I'm a "k" guy myself....
Wow that's unbelievable awesome!!! 😳 Thanks for sharing that adventure very cool!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😛❤️😛😛😛❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. All my Goodness!!! It’s like Mecca!!! I could spend days looking at those saw’s and equipment!!!!
Awesome vid 😎
Man i love stuff like this! Such an impressive collection he put together there and a great about of history and information all in one room. I hope you had a great time buddy that looked like so much fun! Man if each of them saws could tell a story!
Cheers for making this video. Had been Interested in seeing this collection since the build started 👍
Great show love this information ☀️🌙❤️🔥
Really cool dude... Thanks!
These two stroke engines by McCulloch were highly sought after by the Go-Kart racing community especially in P.A., I remember one of my hot rod friends in MA building a Go Kart with one of these 60's McCulloch motors 1969-70, It was a Screamer!!! with lots of Giddy Up & Go! super quick...compared to the Briggs & Tecumseh's etc
I have a McCulloch 550 and other Bullfrog style saws which apparently are used in karts.
This was really neat lots of good stuff thank you for making this
Awesome stuff!
Thank you!
what is the correct carb tool for the echo 9010 blower ? thanks
Carb tools are really difficult to get, dealers really aren't permitted to sell the tools to the public. Every screwdriver I buy for my shop comes with a tag attached to let us know that if they get sold to people that aren't certified we can face a fine. Interesting ain't it?
One tip for the cameraman. Film the saws! instead of constantly filming the people. Such a nice museum and all you show is two people talking.
you guys have mufflers for sale for the 620? performance wise
We do not
If you find a used one you can mail it to me and I’ll drill the corner and add a little 3/4” pipe out for ya,buddy… like $30 bucks whatever the shipping is the same back…I use the box you send to me and everything…I clean aluminum out of cylinder’s too… PM me or whatever I’m in Pa but I’m always happy to help another saw enthusiast…
@@TraverseCreekInc I’m just loving your doing interviews and this video showing all this and all this wonderful information is just a beautiful thing that you have gotten up for the years and the masses of saw enthusiasts.., this is just fantastic buddy!!! I’m over in Collegeville Pa… I’ve got to make the drive over after the holidays and buy some stuff from ya… I wanna check out the store…. Just absolutely love this…thanks so much for sharing!!!
We’ll… the interviews over!!! As soon as he says you can start some saw’s!!!! 😂😂😂👍. Absolutely love it!!!!
What… the 80cc series!!!! Q-Port!!! I gotta go see this collection!!!! My goodness!!!! This gentleman is absolutely fabulous!!!
He has a mint lear charge!!!! All my goodness gracious!!! What an absolutely awesome collection!!!!
No jonsered saws? :(
Did they make go kart motors or was the public just modified chainsaw motors for them
They made and marketed Kart motors to enthusiasts
Video is awesome but would have been that much better if you actually showed for more than 5 seconds of what you were talking about
Yes. Would have been better to see the saws..
Is there a 9-10
