I’m saddened by this report Brother. When I worked in Merced and Fresno back in the early 2000s, the Hmong and Laos refugee population recently started to live in these areas. They used to have events where their community would have volleyball competitions and all kinds of cultural celebrations at the local parks. They were a beautiful community of people. Two generations later, a lot of their youth have experienced no future. I feel that it’s a reflection of the evilness of a second class citizenship. When there are no jobs or future for these youth, they gravitate to survivor mode… which includes gang activity. It’s an unexpected tragedy. I hope you get better.
