Wildlife Reel 24'

It has been a long journey for me as a filmmaker/ photographer having started out before there were RUclips tutorials, before there were digital cameras but I always knew, I wanted to be wildlife filmmaker.
Diving into the realm of wildlife filmmaking, I quickly realised the very steep upward crawl it was going to be and yet always knew and resonated with glow whenever I had the opportunity to film wildlife or birds.
But getting into the scene also meant acquiring gear and very quickly my dreams had to be shelved to sustain myself and buy gear.
It wasn't till Covid hit and I lost all my clients when the calling came back louder than ever that I must stay true to myself.
Whereas the climate has changed with wildlife filmmaking in East Africa today, with the great openings came new challenges and I almost gave up again.
But sitting through my footage over the years, I watched and realised and now determined more than ever that I will pursue this boldly.
Come What May.
So I wrote this Diddy and edited this bitty not only to burn the fire hotter in me, but hopefully to all failing their inner selves for whatever reason to stay true to yourselves.
