Great auction. Amazing how cheap some of those vintage items sold for. Glad you found some bargains, especially that Zenith radio console. A really beautiful set. Thanks for sharing the experience.🙂
You seem to be the youngest guy there. Hope for the future in this male dominated hobby I guess. Prices were really good on most radios. Zenith console's are worth it.
Hi Jerry. I too restore old radios and your video popped up on my RUclips. I enjoyed it and watched a couple of your older videos and subscribed. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing future adventures. We all learn from each other.
Wow, huge fan of this video. Thank you so much for sharing Jerry. 37:07 minutes ago I had no idea about radios but now I feel like an expert. I hope this interest grows so you can share more about radios. Thank you!
When I was 15 my neighbors would phone me to ask me to haul away their 1930s vintage upright radio. They sounded great. When I moved away from home and got my own place, I guess my Dad put them out on the curb.
FYI i have been collecting radios way back in the 70s. 1974 to be exact. More than 2k sets in my collection. When i die my family will sell everything for pennies on the dollar. Sutch s shame.
I remember the days when radios went for big money. Not any more. Common place sets are a dime a dozen now. I thank God i started collecting back in the 1970s when most stuff was cheap.
Ya just brought me to radio paradise!! I collect different radios myself. I especially like the wooden ones. Analog radios are my real favorite!! Even if they're 1970's and 1980's radios, I really like their retro styling. Your friend, Jeff!!
Nice auction. Just goes to show you that only the very rare stuff goes for big money. That emerson 5+1 was a great deal. That globe radio is very rare in white.
I did not buy anything. I was watching a Majestic 5A430 on ebay and when I got home I bought it. its a match to my fathers favorite radio. the sale was fun and a lot of good things changed hands. good to see you there.

Hello Jerry. Can I contact you by email or messenger? I want to consult on repair and modernization of retro receiver circuits.
