First time for Alicia Playing Pai Gow.
It was a great experience. The dealers and managers were all great and very welcoming!
Thank you for watching our Card Room antics. We play the table top games in card rooms like Blackjack, 3 Card Poker, WIld Card Stud, Face Up Pai Gow poker, I love Suits and Ultimate Texas Hold'em.
To answer the questions that we get about “What casino are you at?” or “Who is playing to the right side of you?”. In Florida, there are card rooms where the players are playing against a “banker” instead of the house. The bankers are employees of a separate company and not employed by the house. The dealers are employees of the house and only provide a service of dealing. The “banker” collects losses and pays winnings to the players. When we tip, we are tipping the dealer for their services, at no point do any tips or anything of value go to the banker. 3 card has to be the easiest game to play. Thats why a lot of people play blind. Good luck!
Thanks @nataliescruggs978! Just kinda making rounds teaching her different games so she can see what her knack is. She’s great at Pai Gow and loves it! She can spot her hand in about 2 seconds now.
🤦 Playing the same $ on the side bets as the main bets is an automatic loss unless you are always hitting bonus hands.
Betting 5,5,5,5
A regular win turns out to be a push
And a regular push ends up in a loss of 5
The only time you can profit is if you got a bonus hand which doesn't happen often enough to make up for betting 5,5,5,5.
The dealer even told you that and you agreed with him and didn't change anything.
I was playing 5, 5, 10, 10 and she started to towards the end. She just wanted to play the 5’s until then. I can’t control what she does, I can only tell her then let her make her decisions lol. I think at the beginning after we told her she still didn’t quite get it until she had to see it for herself a bit.
Okay so if you're betting 5,5,10,10 for a total bet of 30
On hands that aren't bonus hands:
Risking 30
*Dealer doesn't qualify= push
*A win = +10
*A loss = -30
Therefore you need to win 4 out of 5 hands you profit $10.
You have such an advantage being able to record your sessions. Try watching some of your sessions and use a different betting strategies to see what works best.
Usually,, (if you must bet side bets) you should keep the side bets to a fraction of the main bets..... 5,5,25,25. Or 1,1,5,5.
But here is the other issue all RUclipsrs have with their betting strategies...... Everyone always plays according to "Wizard of Odds" playbook. Bet Q6 or better.
But everyone completely ignores Wizard of Odds when he says "never play side bets"
With that in mind, you could do a series of playing with no side bets and see how that affects your results.

@@ReelDeckGaming I understand that it would be awesome to be the first RUclipsrs to hit a big jackpot but you could also try to be the RUclipsrs with the highest win ratio of you tried more disciplined strategies. To test it pick 3 or 4 random videos from your channel and track how much you won or lost on the side bets. Maybe I'm wrong. But one thing is for sure that the casinos don't put those side bets on there so they can give away money.
Casinos like games that keep players engaged for long periods of time and they love adding side bets to increase their profits.
@MikeFixesThings oh for sure they do. I just like to take risks. But I’ll do a video with no side bets. I’ll do just about any game alterations. I just enjoy playing

Not sure yet. Probably at some point next week.
So far Win has been last minute decisions but we will start scheduling in advance soon.
