Hi everyone!
This was the third take of me trying to make this video. On this final take the battery died and after I changed it, it cut out some of the footage - which I only saw after. On top of that there’s a significant white noise in the audio. I tried to save it as best as I could, but I know it’s not great... It was like the universe was trying to keep me from making this video and at that point I was just like ‘screw it, I’m just going with this, flaws and all’ so… Enjoy…. If you can…. But I don’t blame you if you skip this one 😂

also, the bordeaux would be more apropos for your wardrobe. who knows, bordeaux may be the new red ;)
❤. A tip: you can buy a red nail polish to start of with the color, you can buy something for the hair in that color and than,if you love it, you can go for a piece/style of clothing that you love to wear but in red.😊
A great idea! I also sometimes will buy socks in the color to try it out. But I wear a lot of tennis shoes and socks with sandals.
I really appreciate your approach to dressing for summer. I hate summer and being hot, and I hate showing my legs, so summer dressing is such a struggle. But seeing you slowly figure out how to not hate dressing for summer has given me hope, even though our style is completely different since I can barely bring myself to wear long shorts, let alone mini skirts!
Because leopard print is a neutral classic, if you leave it at the current length, you will wear it well into your 70s. Xoxo 💕

I'm petite so crop blazers or jackets are always in for me! It truly depends on your personal style and preference
I was going to say the same thing! Cropped jackets are my jam! Some of mine are 15 years old, and I still love them.❤
Hi! Thanks for your video. I Love your style. These sandals from Another Stories..dont buy them. I had them and wore them one time, and they destroyed my feet; it is because these font bits pinch your skin (especially when it's hot) and it is very painful. Maybe it will work for you, but for me the design was faulty. It was a shame, because the sole is comfortable.
Regarding the red: I understand that red is not your color and I think it is a good idea to go for something in a similar color family. Regardless, I think you would look amazing in red. For me personally, red is one of my favorite colors
I think there is a lot of nuance when it comes to oversized blazers. I’ve seen them in pictures on instagram where they look great, but whenever I came across someone wearing one in real life 9 times out of 10 it looked extremely odd, especially from behind 😅
As for the trend thing: completely agree! This year has been the first time in quite a while I actually liked a trend and went along with it (those long/midi denim skirts with a slit)

And while I enjoy the content of course, I just quickly wanna let you know how much it especially stood out to me how reflecting you are in sharing your opinion about things and how aware you are of possible differences in lifestyle, budgets and needs etc. You handle this so great & I really appreciate how you share a specific viewpoint on (your) style or scandi style f.x. without ever making oneself feel excluded or talked down to!

Sambas are leather! I have the baby blue which you shown. They are pretty easy maintenance, but the front t-toe piece is like untreated leather. So it might get damaged/darker over time, but this is also kind of a look. Mine after 6 months or so still look like new.
For me they were not very comfortable first few wears, but then they broke in and everything is perfect after.

I really struggle in summer because I love cozy knits, layers, coats, and dark colors and I hate pastels and flimsy fabrics. So in summer I stick with a black, navy, and olive palette and simple shapes (tees, slim pants, midi skirts) and am quite happy with that. I enjoy everyone else's sunshine & sand colored, wrinkly linen, thin gauzy summery looks but I just hate them on my body. #knowthyself I do LOVE a pop of red -- one of the first pairs of shoes I bought when in middle school was red pointy-toe Mia flats and I still have to always have red shoes. 😄 Thanks for sharing your process, I really enjoy how you think your wardrobe through!!!
I was thinking that instead of the red, focus on pops of colour within your colour palette, and then you said exactly that, so yes, I do think that is the way to go.
Me, I'm all over the pops of red, because they're part of my colour palette (never happier than when my colours, silhouettes, or better still, both are on trend). For me it's about choosing the trends that are in keeping with my style and can stay in my wardrobe for years to come.
Few things feel better than when a personal like become a trend 🫶🏼

Loveee cropped jackets are my fave
On the Sambas the Samba Decons are far better quality than the og ones, the leather on the decons is so soft & lovely quality. I've had both and much prefer the decon ones.

I reckon you shouldn't tailor your jacket into a cropped one unless your tailor is super talented and you can clearly envisage how it will look. Even then it's risky, even if they do a "pretty good" job on it, if there's a hint of dissatisfaction in the end result it might be what stops you reaching for it altogether, not to mention having spent money on the alterations. Just my two cents ;) x
*i'm all for using tailors but think it's safer for tweaks like taking up the hem on a skirt or making a jacket less bulky in the sleeves, for example.
