This was such a fun watch! Many things stood out to me:
    - the utter horror on Melchior's face during "Those You've Known" which might just be the most touching performance of that song I've seen so far
    - Wendla's voice? I mean, oh my god, she has a beautiful voice
    - the entire cast was extremely vocally strong. It's unusual for such a small production to have this many strong voices but you really, really earned that standing ovation at the end
    - the audience loved it - and i love watching an audience that enjoys a play or musical, it just adds something special to know the jokes hit
    - the set design mirroring the three arches of a traditional church, really putting emphasis on Melchior's running away from the church only to end up at a graveyard line
    - and, yeah, Moritz's voice and those RIFFS!!!!
Kudos to this performance and its cast!

Came back to rewatch and totally forgot to talk about how beautiful Wendla’s voice was! I totally agree!
Her “Whispering” was so gorgeous. Just wanted to get that out too bc she was definitely another standout!

what a beautiful and heartwarming production. Wendla IMMEDIATELY captivating us with her jaw dropping presence and talent. Melchior was incredible and perfectly embodied the charisma and personality of the role. Moritz was by far the best Moritz i have ever seen, such incredible emotion, vocals, and portrayal of the struggles of mental health in youth. this actor truly understood the assignment, and i felt every pang of hurt in every awkward gesture and flinch. tears. and i actually found Moritz taking over the riffs in Touch Me to be very natural and actually feel this should be a more common choice. Ilse brought such a deep level of innocence and gentleness to such a heavy role. and that VOICE from such a young actor was unreal! Adult man and woman were both absolutely incredicle, funny, and intimidating. such range and so many amazing choices from them. overall one of the best ive seen. will definitely watch again and show others :)))

I was in love with Moritz voice and then he unexpectedly took over the riffs in Touch me and WOW. Incredible!
Also love Melchior’s casting - and oddly his diction, he enunciates so perfectly
And I LOOVED adult woman. Wonderful casting choice!
generally really loved this cast but the director copied the broadway choreography pretty much to the t lol - except mirror blue night I guess
Good job to everyone in cast you were all incredible
