Hi if this motor was driving a 3 point hitch PTO chipper, and the chipper has a heavy flywheel that has a lot of momentum, when the hydraulic flow is turned off, the flywheel would keep turning and the hydraulic motor would become a hydraulic pump. Would it pressurize the input lines with the same "polarity", or would the "polarity" flip? Polarity meaning which line has higher pressure (supply line) and which line has lower pressure (return line).
Hi, it has a check valve to allow the hydraulic oil to flow continuously in the same direction when the hydraulic supply from the machine is shut off, and cycle through the motor via the check valve. The direction of hydraulic flow does not change. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Skid Steer Solutions
Not remotely a nightmare. I just bought the 3 point hitch attachment for my skid steer and within 20 minutes I ran my post hole digger. The bush hog will need some modification but it's just plain common sense to make it work. In a nutshell, my $500 bush hog will perform as good as a $3000 hydraulic bush hog and when set and done I only spend a day's worth of work modifying it and probably $100 worth of material. My tiller will not need any modification so that is a big plus.

Good idea was thinking about something similar.

Everything’s backwards! 🙄 Nothing but a NIGHTMARE and accident waiting to happen running in reverse all day!!! 😮😕😬
