- Nick Riewoldt and Joey Montagna discuss whether long-term contracts still come with the element of risk which clubs are forced to take to keep their players. Was Melbourne's loss to Fremantle a blip on the radar or a systematic problem?
There's a side we're all late to the party on, and they're a team that's right in the mix for the top 4 seedings of the season to date.
Real-Talk Shit-Talk has the Gold Coast on the agenda, Thursday night footy must become a permanent fixture in 2025 and more.

Fremantle are coming good at the right time of year. They’ve had four losses: a close (and questionable) loss to Carlton in a “home”game in Adelaide, a 3pt loss to Port away, an inexplicable away loss to West Coast after being away for two weeks, and a home loss to Swans after a five-day break and the day after losing Cam McCarthy. Their stats in the Swans game were equal to the Swans but let down by poor goal kicking which it now appears has been resolved. Their round 16 match against Swans will tell us where Fremantle really stand…….if they survive the Bulldogs and Suns first.
Freo did not threaten Sydney at all lmao
Fremantle actually getting recognition? I must be dead
You can thank Leigh Montagna for that, he's a great voice for the club in the Victorian media. The main footy guys all take the piss out of him for being a Freo lover
@@GingerNinjaPlusFreo lover/ paid employee 😂
@GingerNinjaPlus I grew up in Vic and went for St Kilda til I was about 10 and moved to Perth and I'm a freo fan now. I didn't fall in love with them as much as I fell out of love with St Kilda. I cant stand them and I hate it but its just how I feel but I love Joey and Roo
Make timestamps for each topic on these videos please
Yes once a video gets over 10-15 minutes or so time stamps are a must for all but the most devoted viewers. SEN are good in that regard with their RUclips content. I and many others just aren't going to watch longer videos without them.
Including time stamps only increases overall views and engagement in the long run, not reduces them. Time is precious not just for content creators but for the viewing public too!
I like Bucks as the coach of Tasmania.
Totally agree with a proportionate amount based on their ladder position and history. It provides a degree of equality to the system. It is the reason people who earn more money pay more tax and that benefits the overall society...Perhaps the same can be said for the AFL. If Tasmania get benefits when they start then it means so should clubs that are disadvantaged.
If the AFL can remove all 5- day breaks & double 6- day breaks, then the Thursday night game is fine. The probability of serious injury due to a lack of recovery time is too much of an issue with the speed of the game at an all-time high. Look at the number of teams struggling with soft tissue, major knee & shoulder injuries. There seems to be more of these now than ever before. It might not be so but it certainly looks as if it is.
I'm with Roo Re the Brownlow and other awards. Piss off the fairest component and reward for just being the best player and not suspended for foul play. C'mon folks, not rocket science.
We should have a Wednesday night game
Chris Grant ? One of the most fair players ever
Buck's 4 Tasmania is a great idea
Richmond lost to the Cats after your mob in 2017, Joey! Points valid, but not quite correct
Nick & Joey still be salty over 2010
Freo will drop out
