Leaving Flagstaff AZ on the 12th of Sept and headed for Mt Bachelor and then Silver Mtn. Loved both your videos. Informative and packed with useful info. Well done.
Another good review! I was a bit confused by your comment that you were left wanting more after saying that this park had more trails than any other in the US. Anyway, keep up the good work and be safe!
I to wish there was more trail at bachy but they have there reasons. Bachelor is in the Deschutes National Forest which is one of the most protected forests. So it hard for them to clear trees and break ground because of this. There was resent news of a new hiking/biking trail but nothing like redline.
Give the local kids/riders a coupole years of riding A-line, and their will be plenty of demand for another flow/jump trail. Right now, they have enough local injuries to deal with...
Great review! Pretty new to serious MB, for years I just did modest trails with a $1k bike. Decided to up my game and bought a Niner and have been riding more technical stuff in Folsom and Auburn CA. This review makes it sound like Mt. Bachelor would be good for an intermediate rider who's not completely comfortable about getting air yet but doesn't mind technical rides, modest rock gardens and keeping wheels on the ground and hitting the sled hard. Can anyone attest to that? I'll stay off Redline and x2 diamonds. If not, other ideas? Cheers.
You could get by on a trail bike, but I think an enduro bike is perfect for this place. It’s not gnarly enough for a dh bike, but a trail bike is a bit too low travel. Definitely possible though!
@@trailreviews3628 If I was going to get my feet wet first on the blue flow trails and some of the black tech (avoiding red line and rockfall) would I still want the Eduro. I almost got the Norco Sight but I really loved how played the process was.
Great video. I love my home Mt so ill add a few corrections throughout watching video. 1 restraunt at base and 1 at top of pine martin. Zip line is 90usd. Not doing great with covid19 in oregon? Don't know what you mean
Thanks for the corrections! I'm talking about the bars and tourist areas where there is no social distancing happening. Plus, the cases are higher than Washington
climbhigh1000 i went there the past weekend and my family were the only ones wearing a mask and all the lines were very close in the woodburn mall and about half of the people werent wearing masks
Watching this before riding My Bachelor tommorow. Very informative! Keep up the good work.
Nice vid Raj! 👍👍😃

Mike Gunter thanks! The area around it has more, but not lift access. This bike park alone could use some more trails
great video! I would love to see a reveiw on the new 12 step.

When are you going to make a another backyard trails I love them
Jackson Awesome I don't want to filly switch my content, so I'll mix a trail build in every few weeks
Would you ride a trail bike there (Kona Process 134 for instance) or rent a DH bike?

I’d still recommend an enduro. Even the black tech gets kind of steep
