This concept might be new in Singapore, but is very common in cities like Saigon, where home-based cafes (or even restaurant) is a common scene in the city.

I certainly wouldn't go to a HDB flat, collect a cup of coffee, and then just leave, unless the coffee is really great.
Interesting concept, though.
most of these are run from landed houses (which these people's parents bought as the family home). having money helps you make more money...

@@davidvergieSFA website says its allowed. HDB also says you can sell food from your house as long as you follow some regulations like not selling on food delivery apps
